The self professed purists are silly...I am NOT a Bush fan, but I KNOW that the alternative (democrats) is FAR WORSE, despite the childish claim by the third party gaggle that there is no difference.

Amazing. Incredible. Stupendous. You've still offered nothing worthwhile on the thread.

Gee, isn't Ann Coulter a pretty strong supporter of President Bush? Must be quite the dilemma our new friend has, huh? ROTFL!

i think it would be interesting if the CP would allow candidates to get the nomination of both the GOP and the CP...sort of "I'm going to be part of a majority....but I am also a hard line conservative." Best of both?

Okay, so there are things that are being done that irritate me. But I do like the man and for better or worse he's got my vote.

Educate me. Who should I vote for, if not Bush.

I don't get too concerned about programs passed by this or any other administration. They can and do get corrected. What I do get worried about is our judicial system and the life time appointments of judges. There is no quick fix for the harm that is done. Another 4 years may save us 50 years of social engineering through our courts.

When, and if, the Constitution Party ACTUALLY has a snow balls' chance in hell of winning, then, and ONLY then will it not be a vote for the democrat.

When, and if, my single vote ACTUALLY has a snow balls' chance in hell of determining the outcome of the election, then, and ONLY then will a vote for the Constitution Party be a vote for the democrat.

Better to cost them the WH and think long(er) term. Else each election cycle convervatives have no pwer and are taken for granted; equal to African-Americans on the Dem side.

Horse dung. This kind of thinking gave us 8 years of derSchlickmeister, which ARGUABLY gave us the climate that gave Al Qaeda the boldness to committ the acts of 9/11.

No, whatever changes that ought to be made ought to be made while in power. Voting out the more conservative of the two electable parties is a big error.

This is frightening.... if we are only going to allow opinions that we agree with, than WTF are we doing here? Stroking our egos?

I can excuse you for not realizing that the original document still exists under history (easy enough to miss), but silly comments like this one tell me you really don't know much at all about FR.

Never the less - the censorship of the original post and responses is WRONG....

I have come here for years because of the free discussion in the absence of P.C. police. But apparently, liberals aren't the only ones afraid of free, open disscusion.

is there any doubt that this forum is not about grassroots conservatism and more about republican party orthodoxy?

Grassroots conservatives look at the list of accomplishments of this president (see post #6) that show pretty remarkable progress.

One of your points in your hyperbolic list accused the president of having a pro-abortion judge screening his judicial appointments, yet Bush's judicial nominees have been subjected to unprecedented smears and obstruction by the extreme pro-abortion wing of the democrat party (oh, that's pretty much all of the democrats in the senate these days).

Therefore, when somebody posts this kind of moronic drivel about this president, most grassroots conservatives will rally to the president's defense. Your suggestion that the forum is bound to "republican party orthodoxy" is pretty hollow. Most grassroots conservatives recognize where they will find the most support for most of the policies they would favor.

Does the CP not allow that now?

That is interesting. You mean have the CP nominate Bush as THEIR POTUS candidate too? It would sort of be a national poll on what the GOP is composed of...perhaps it would send a message to the GOP that conservatives shouldn't be ignored.
