I almost never listen to Savage (less than I do Rush) because I'm not around a radio when he's on..He seems critical of Bush in a few places. Anyone know if he is pro, neutral, or anti Bush (as far as Bush's policies)?

Kerry is
a standard socialist Democrat who wants to promise all things to all people, as apparently does Bush, which really worries me. Theyre all giving the store away to garner votes from those, you know, who believe the government should give everybody everything without consequence. What I dont understand is this. How can Bushs advisers not understand this issue? [i.e. the borders, language and culture theme.] I dont understand them. Every poll, even the ABC polls are showing that Americans have an opposing view on this issue. And they continue to forge ahead as though its bull**** and that no one cares.
The concept of this gargantuan welfare state permeates the Republican Party as well. They dont stand for very much anymore.

Michael Savage cuts to the bone with common sense. The good news is Arizona's GOP has taken a stand on the Bush alien proposal:
(AZ GOP)Senator Kyl would do well to stand with his state on this President Bush was misinformed and Kyl was part of that group that misinformed him. Congressman Kolbe and Senator McCain are also wrong for thinking lawbreakers will make good semi-citizens when in truth they only add to the problem Washingtons blind spot on this will cost them votes across the board.

About any minute now you will hear from people who say, "I hate Savage."
The reason for such hatred is, even though they will never admit it, is because they believe conservatives should be more quiet, more subdued. Much like the GOP members of the House and Senate.
Michael Savage does not do any of that. He says what is on his mind. That's why his show is number three, behind Rush and Dr. Laura. That's why GLAAD and far-left RDDBs with their own websites have attacked and slandered Savage (of course, it could also be because he is Jewish...who knows).
That's why when they pop up here (as they will), just play whack-a-mole and tell them if they can do better than Savage then they should get their own radio show, otherwise they should sit down and shut up.

Savage has finally stopped screaming nasty things back to his callers. (even those who agreed with him)
I think Savage realized that the massive influx of illegals has doomed this nation, and he'd better become more serious about doing a good show, and attracting people who have turned him off before. (Like me) He makes the open borders forever people angry because he is telling us the truth about what is happening to America.
Rush and Sean won't tell the truth about illegals. All they can talk about is that nutty Dean. Who gives a rat's about Dean, when this country is suffering from a massive invasion from an unfriendly country. You won't hear the truth from any other conservative talk host. That is why Savage is hated. He is not a suck up to the illegals.

To a great extent, Michael Savage is a conservative version of Howard Stern. A major difference is the subject matter. Stern's milieu includes the entertainment business and sex. He creates a world around his life in Manhattan and (previously) Long Island and his cast of characters like Stuttering John. Savage's milieu includes the overall culture and politics. He creates a world around his life in San Francisco and Marin County and his past experiences as an academic and a researcher.
Like Stern, Savage's abrasiveness and "shock jock" rudeness are cultural affectations meant to draw audiences. Savage's roots are in the lower and middle classes of pre-1970 New York City, particularly its Jewish neighborhoods. This is not too far from those of Stern, although Stern grew up in the New York suburbs about a decade after Savage did.
Savage is the product of an urban, New York, Jewish culture. Most conservative writers and broadcasters are people who are products of suburban or rural areas. By and large, they are of British or German Protestant or Irish Catholic ancestry and thus come from cultural backgrounds that are far "stodgier" than Savage's. Additionally, Savage was not primarily a media person for most of his life, and has a broad range of scientific and scholarly experience few in the mainstream or alternative media can match.
It is the cultural, rather than the philosophical, flavor of Michael Savage that distinguishes him from the rest of the conservative pack.

Immigrants and epidemics?
Too politically incorrect to talk about, but watch out for bedbugs when you sleep in even a fancy hotel.
And watch those TB "titers"--the rate of infection is going steadily up.

I suggest that those who don't listen to Savage read his book. It makes perfect sense. Savage is a great guy, brash, angry and verrrry intelligent. I just bought the book and I'm reading it now. It's not a hard read and gets to the point. We have an enemy living within our society called the left wing/liberals. They are going to destroy our us if we don't stop them now.

Savage's ego concerns me. When Limbaugh does it you know it's humor, but Michael...
In any case, I like his rant and his shtick.
(I don't like it when he does the "mom"/"dad" thing. Your car is in the driveway..."mom." Your kids are idiots..."dad." And on and on until it makes me crazy.)

Unfortunately, the reason people don't like Savage is not because he represents a part of conservatism that we don't want to see; rather, he represents a part of
America that international folk, such as me, don't want to see.
- Savage represents the part of America that gets stuck, that resists progress and that says "no" every time a step towards tolerance and global unity is made. He's one of the people that reminds us that, although America is the last remaining superpower right now, it's still the last first-world country to really join the international community.
- I will not state his beliefs, as I do not know them; however, he strikes me as the type of person who has faith in the concept of "culture of assimilation," which is what you Yanks have instead of a "cultural mosaic:" instead of allowing immigrants to practice their own culture, much of the immigration process is designed to assimilate them into American culture - to make them into government-conformed cookie-cutter people whose only difference from you and me is their last name and their skin colour. That's not equality, and that shouldn't be what any civilized country stands for.
As I said, that's the type of person Savage seems to be. The reason us Canadian "liberal"-types don't like him is that he's the type of person who's holding America down.
