About any minute now you will hear from people who say, "I hate Savage."
The reason for such hatred is, even though they will never admit it, is because they believe conservatives should be more quiet, more subdued. Much like the GOP members of the House and Senate.
Michael Savage does not do any of that. He says what is on his mind. That's why his show is number three, behind Rush and Dr. Laura. That's why GLAAD and far-left RDDBs with their own websites have attacked and slandered Savage (of course, it could also be because he is Jewish...who knows).
That's why when they pop up here (as they will), just play whack-a-mole and tell them if they can do better than Savage then they should get their own radio show, otherwise they should sit down and shut up.

There is a difference between hyperbole and heated debate. Savage leans on the hyperbole. He has what 6 million listeners a week. That's 2% of the population that goes ga-ga over his hyperbole.
Also the couple of times I've listened to him he is very stuck on himself.

Exactly. Savage will not swallow the party line, hook, line, and sinker. He is a breath of fresh air in that he will take on social issues (immigration, homosexuality, affirmative action) that the "checked pants" Republicans like to steer clear of.

There's a way to get your point across without being overly Shrill (i.e.- calling for Bush's impeachment, blasting all GOP members, etc)... Listen to Mark Levin... Very direct, a bit arrogant, but not always self-serving, and not nearly as shrill.

I see, so we have to be able to do better than somebody to criticize them? So if I can't be a better president than Bush I can't voice any disagreement with him? What about liberals? There are many liberal commentators and writers who I completely disagree with but I am also certain I couldn't write better than them. Do I have to shut up about them, too, because I can't do better?
Pretty weird world you live in.

So if I comment on how much Senator Dasshole sucks, then I should get my own Senate job or sit down and shut up?
Why the hell is he so pessimistic and angry all the time? Last night he comments on how it sucks to get old. I'm not the sadist to enjoy listening to this depressing crap all the time.
Well, gotta go prepare to start my talk radio career.
