Excellent Linda! Great stuff there. Here is my favorite fro your page:

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!" --Samuel Adams

I always knew I liked him (and his beer) ;}. I think he is my new favorite Patriot.

I wonder if I am related to him... Surley , crass, and stuborn. What a sharp tounge! Yup, it is a possibility!

Medal of Honor Recipients:

My prayers are offered for LESILE ANN BELLRICHARD, ROY P BENAVIDEZ, and , and their families. May God watch over these heroes ,and always protect their families from harm.

We will never forget!

Let us share in this moment , in honor of all of the unconditional love , patriotism ,and bravery which our American Veterans and soldiers have shown us. May our candles light their way, wherever they may be, and may we keep these symbolic gestures in the scrapbooks of our lives. May all of our soldiers , veterans and fallen soldiers rest with peace in their hearts, and glory within their souls, wherever they may rest. And may we have their spirits within our hearts, evermore. -DBR

SHOW BIRD — U.S. Navy Cmdr. Thomas Halley, commanding officer for the “Marauders” of Strike Fighter Squadron 82, pilots the squadron's "show bird" F/A-18 Hornet strike fighter sporting a brand new paint scheme over the Arabian Gulf, Jan. 22, 2004. Iraqis who arrived early at a job fair held by the British Army's 1st Battalion, 1st Light Infantry Brigade at the stadium in Al Amarah, Iraq, express happiness at being toward the front of the growing line. More than 11,000 Iraqis began arriving at 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 26, 2004, to register for 2,500 manual labor jobs. The British soldiers pulled riot patrol to keep the Iraqis from trampling one another during the long wait in line. Royal Air Force photo by Cpl. Gary Wort

Good afternoon, arrowhead, what an interesting topping to a stack of pancakes. I like it.

Thanks for helping keep Texas and the US of A safe. And thanks for helping honor our military, past and present.

And now, I've gotta go and pack. Yes, you heard me, pack. Yesterday afternoon John called and informed me that he'd like to take a little road trip...to Texas. Then today he informed me that he's put the kids and I up at a little place called the YO Ranch so we can have fun things to do while he goes out and rides his motorcycle. So I'll be somewhere in the middle of Texas by tomorrow night. (Dear God, please let there be a computer hook-up in our cabin!) I will hopefully be back in tonight before I hit the rack and then I am planning to FReep much of the day tomorrow while we are on the road -- provided I have wireless service, and that shouldn't be a problem as we'll be on interstates most of the way. I love this improptu stuff, but it freaks out my nature of planning things out to a T~ See ya later!
