New 9/11 audio is being released today played at the 9/11 Commission hearing. Flight attendant Betty Ong calling the American Airlines reservation desk regarding the hijackers taking over American Airlines Flight 11 Boeing 767, before it struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

I am sure there is much more information than it was released and the Feds are aware.

I think a lot of it was not released so as not to panic people even worse, and to not let terrorists know what we know or were able to piece together.

For all we know, as you also say, they could have been chemical weapons and maybe people were dead way before the plane hit the WTC. I think there are chemical weapons, which don't kill instantly.

We don't know it was pepper spray, just that it was something that made people unable to breath.

Wow, if that's the case I am really surprised more of a fuss hasn't been made about it.

That's a very good question -- and in a quantity to disable a planeload of passengers.

Even pre-9-11, they were watching for mace. I had a tiny, 0.2 oz or thereabouts pepper spray with me, which I used to carry, I even had a permit, which was required in CA, but at one of my trips airport security took it away from me.

And here are the terrorists probably smuggled obviously a lot more.

I can't even imagine what viewing that video has done to you. It has made it all so vivid again for me and I wasn't there. God bless you and keep you as you continue to learn to deal with this horror .... you and all the others for whom it is so very personal.

But as painful as it is for those of you who were there .... or who lost loved ones .... I think it is essential for our nation that the horrific scenes and sounds and sights remain in the public eye.

Too many people have done too good a job of going about their lives, forgetting the utter horror of that day .... the shock, the outrage, the fear, the determination that the cowards would not succeed in bringing us to our knees. I fully agreed when the networks quit playing the videos over and over and over .... we were becoming numbed to them. But now I think they should be shown monthly ... or at least every 2-3 months ... so that America NEVER FORGETS!

We owe it to those of you who lived through that hell ... and those who didn't survive it ... to retain our anger and our sense of purpose as we seek out and destroy those so evil as to do such a barbaric thing.

There's no excuse for that. What kind of media whore would make these fabrications? What say we find out and publish their lack of "objectivity." Really. Absurd Homeland security levels, we now have a intrusive Patriot act dissolving our rights to some small degree(to begin with). We pulled out of Saudi Arabia, conceding to thier demands in that regard.


Mecca and every major Afghan city should have been nuked immediately in response to 9-11.

Arabs and muslims respect one thing. Raw power. How do you think Saddamn survived so long? I don't want muslim or arab respect or friendship, I want them to fear us so badly that they are afraid to commit these terrorist acts, knowing that in doing so thier entire civilization is in danger if they continue.
