Presidential hopeful John Kerry on Monday called himself the only Democrat in the race who hasn't "played games" on the abortion issue.

Kerry, campaigning for votes in New Hampshire's leadoff primary Tuesday, repeated his pledge to appoint to the Supreme Court only those who would support abortion rights.

Meanwhile, so I read in another thread, Kerry's bishop continues to welcome him to the communion table--if he bothers to show up for the photo op at church.

Kerry is a Catholic in name only and is not endorsed by the Church or his bishop as far as I know.

"For seven and half years we destroyed weapons of mass destruction," Kerry said, and officials had assured him they would be found. "I voted for a process promised by the president."

So the jackass who not only voted for authorizing force and also stated several times he believed Iraq had WMD is being so hypocritical...Oh I forgot, he's a dem!

Calling Bush a liar who is F*ing things up Iraq ONLY serves to win his LOONEY parties nomination, he's not even going to be a blip on the radar when it comes to the election with that kinda of Stupid rhetoric.

Since the dems are falling all over one another to see who is best-equipped to kill the most babies, I think they should have a contest. They could retro-fit one of those arcade whack-a-mole games

using infants as the targets. Each candidate gets a sledgehammer and thirty seconds to whack as many babies as he can. Whoever kills the most will get to be the democrat candidate. In case of a tie, they could use vacuums to suck up the gray matter. First one to fill a quart cannister wins.

"If you believe that choice is a constitutional right, and I do..."

... then you clearly have read neither the Constitution nor the Declaration of Independence.

Meanwhile, so I read in another thread, Kerry's bishop continues to welcome him to the communion table--if he bothers to show up for the photo op at church.

Pro-choice politicians sick me out.

I see Kerry's wife, Teresa, was born in Mozambique, the daughter of a Portuguese doctor. She later went to college in Johannesburg, South Africa. Mozambique was from 1569-1975, ruled by the Portuguese as a colony. I wonder how all the African-Amerians will take to a former white African colonial as the first lady?

"I will not appoint a justice to the Supreme Court of the United States who will undo that right."

What a disgusting thing to brag about!

He doesn't have much of anything decent to offer in most of the decisions he supports.

Sounds like a litmus test to me. Aren't those supposed to be bad? What's that? Only when a Republican says he'll support non-activist judges - then it's bad, but when a democrat says he'll support judges to uphold the right to an abortion that's ok?

In response, Dean noted that he once sat on the board of Planned Parenthood in northern New England.

How pathetic, arguing about which one has been responsible for the death of more babies.

May God forgive our nation, and bring us back to our senses.

President Bush, however, supports abortion only in cases of rape or incest or when a woman's life is endangered.

I agree completely with his position. And "when a woman's life is endangered" does not mean that she has chronic stress or headaches or any other minor malady.

I've never understood liberals position on abortion. A woman wants to go for a romp between the sheets and if she should get pregnant, she says.."Ah, let's just kill it"? How disgusting and cruel. How could anyone possibly think that is OK?

Sad that Kerry thinks that life is a 'game' maybe he should consider it a hunt. That said, the Catholic Church has to examine itself and figure out why they lost the faithful on this issue. When a politican feels there is more votes in supporting abortion choice, then it is hard to completely blame the politicans for reading the tea leaves.

Down South, the Baptists seem to have done a better job in getting acceptance to the pro-life message. However, Bush also has his problems in changing 'hearts and minds'. As far as I know, Laura seems to be outside the fold.
