I'm referring to all the new realtor developments that have been cropping up. I listen to NJ 101.5 in the AM. From the morning DJ, I'm under the impression that the new developments of late aren't conformed to the same tax ratings as non development homeowners; however, I've been unable to confirm that.

Considering all the developments and payoffs to create them; this would make sense.

"Saddam's Web of Bribery 'Went Round the World'"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Saddam Hussein bribed his way around the world, buying the support of presidents, ministers, legislators, political parties and even Christian churches, according to documents published in Iraq.

The list of those who allegedly benefited from Saddam's largesse spans 46 countries.

According to the newspaper al-Mada, one of the new publications that have emerged since the removal of the dictator, Saddam offered each of his friends lucrative contracts to trade in millions of barrels of Iraqi crude under the United Nations oil-for-food programme.

The 270 individuals and organisations alleged to be in his pay included the sons of a serving Arab president, Arab ministers, a prominent Indonesian leader, the Palestinian Liberation Organisation, the party led by the Russian nationalist Vladimir Zhirinovsky and even the Russian Orthodox Church.

Abdul Sahib Qotob, an under-secretary in Iraq's oil ministry, said the documents "reveal how Saddam jeopardised the oil wealth of Iraq on personalities who had supported him and turned a blind eye on the mass graves and injustice he inflicted on the sons of the Iraqi people".

He said the ministry was building up a legal case and might seek the help of Interpol to recover the money. Interpol refused to comment."

Deal to sell atom plant puts Berlin aide in bind

BERLIN A bit over 10 years ago, when he was the Minister for the Environment in the state of Hesse, Joschka Fischer, who is Germany's Foreign Minister, was one of the most visible leaders in a successful fight against a nuclear enrichment plant built by the industrial giant Siemens.

Now Fischer finds himself in an embarrassing public position and at odds with many in his own Green Party over his failure to oppose the sale of the plant, which never went into operation, to China, a deal announced last week by Chancellor Gerhard Schröder of Germany during an official visit to Beijing.

Schröder, in China with a group of German business leaders, said that the government would have no legal reasons for preventing the sale of the plant, and Fischer has resisted pressure from within the Green Party publicly to oppose the chancellor's decision.

In his only public comment on the matter, Fischer said last week that sometimes "bitter decisions" have to be made. But to many in the press and among the public, Germany's willingness to sell nuclear technology abroad clashes too conspicuously with the German government's official anti-nuclear-power position.

Indeed, the present policy is for all 19 of the nuclear power plants now operating eventually to be shut down. A month ago, the Environment Minister, Jürgen Trittin, one of three members of the Green Party who hold cabinet posts in Schröder's coalition government, was in attendance when the first of the plants, in Stade near the northern city of Hamburg, was closed. "Will Foreign Minister Fischer now sell to the Chinese the nuclear plant which he fought against as Hesse environmental minister?" the left-leaning daily Tagespiegel asked in an editorial last week.

"The Greens need to watch out that they don't lose sight of their own principles in attempting to treat their coalition partner with caution." In Beijing last week, Schröder, asked at a press conference about the pending deal between Siemens and China, said: "I've always said that the company that wants to sell this plant has a right to claim a license for the deal, provided the plant is not used for military purposes." He cited Chinese assurances that Beijing had no intention of putting the plant to military use and that, in any case, it would not be possible to do so. Consequently, he continued, "In my opinion in this case, we do not have any possibilities for a political decision; the law has to be implemented."

The Siemens plant, initially built at a cost of about $220 million has been sitting unused ever since construction on it ceased 12 years ago. According to experts in Germany, it is a fuel-rod enrichment facility that could only be used to make weapons-grade materials if it were combined with another rare enrichment technology, which China, already a nuclear power, does not possess. China has offered $55 million for the plant, a sum that has already provoked sardonic commentary in the German press.

"Everything Must Go!" was the headline in the tageszeitung over the weekend, likening Germany to a discount department store. Adding to the discomfiture of the government is a bid by a German-French consortium, in which Siemens is a major partner, to sell a nuclear power plant to Finland, a contract that could bring several hundred jobs to Germany at a time of high unemployment.

The issue for the government here is a Finnish demand for German loan guarantees, without which the German-French bid would likely fail. Some Green politicians have said they were taken by surprise by Schröder's announcement in Beijing, and all indications are that Fischer was too.

Men involved in shootout here illegally, police say

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Two men charged in connection with a double homicide, rolling gun battle and attempted burglary in Des Moines on Saturday were in the country illegally, police said Monday.



Police Sgt. Todd Dykstra said police have not yet determined where the suspects obtained the gun or how many bullets were fired in the gun battle with police.



Investigators refused to release the 911 tape in the homicide investigation.



Jorge Perez-Castillo, 23, of Guatemala was charged with two counts of first-degree murder and four counts of attempted murder. He allegedly was firing at police while driving a truck and trying to flee his pursuers.

Hernando Sandoval, 28, of Mexico was charged with attempted burglary for allegedly trying to break into an apartment in the 2800 block of Douglas Avenue at the conclusion of the shootout.



Dykstra said he did not know how long Perez-Castillo and Sandoval had been in the Des Moines area. He said as dangerous as it was for those in the area early Saturday, it could have been worse had the two suspects managed to get inside an apartment at the end of the police chase. As it turned out, they were cornered and arrested without further injury."

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "OLYMPIA - A Vancouver lawmaker waded into the touchy issue of immigration politics Monday by introducing a bill encouraging financial institutions and local governments to accept identification cards issued to Mexican nationals.

    Rep. Bill Fromhold, a Democrat, called it a "statement of respect" to Clark County's growing Latino population.

    A critic of the "matricular consular" said the cards are an end-run around immigration laws and a way for banks and credit unions to gain new accounts."

NEIN has revisited this issue in the past 24 hours with the original source who came to NEIN volunteering this information on 22 January 2004.

This source (from an "Agency" in Virginia) re-affirms the information provided to NEIN is 100% accurate.

Therefore the Northeast Intelligence Network maintains its position that the US Special Forces launched a "snatch 'n grab" about 20 January 2004 within the territory of the


Islamic Republic of Iran,

with Osama bin Laden being the High Value target captured.

These individuals are: two US intelligence sources and one US military source.

I am retracting the comment below. See my subsequent post to understand why.

The State Department denial of OBL's capture is irrelevant and meaningless because they are not involved, and have jumped all protocols in issuing such a statement.

1.) NEIN monitoring of real jihad forums reveals that in the past few hours ALL SUBSTANTIVE CHATTER HAS CEASED. There is nothing. Period.

THe last thing we heard were refereal to Osama as Osama Abdullah. Osama is going to be announced as the long-awaited Islamic al-Mahdi. The wahhabists are into thier apocalyptic scenario full scale. It is my humble opinion that nothing will stop them short of a bullet to the cranium.
Russia will not stop them, Iran will not stop them. The US and our allies must stop them before the unthinkable becomes reality.


2.) US major media outlets will be givien a heads-up prior to any strike against the US homeland by alQaeda. From Steve Quayle we get this:
