I was looking to see if the QM2 was still here. They usually turn around and go right on with the itinerary..so I don't know for sure. I did find that the QE2 has been (semi-retired). That's an end of era for me: I did the QE2/Concord jet package a couple years ago.

I'm not sure I would proclaim NYC safe, but one certainly would "expect" an attack there, so it might be wise to look elsewhere. That said, NYC will always be a preferred target IMO.

Hopefully the dream was just a subconscience analysis of everything I've been reading and hearing. We all do suspect Vegas as being a target. However, I think the main point in the dream was that the airport is too close too the strip to stop anything that appears to be landing. I looked the airport up on yahoo maps a little while ago. The only thing I don't understand about them hitting vegas is that they would probably take out much of their brethren. I think the ME's and Chinese keep vegas going.

From all the dithering noises from Pakistan, it sounds as if they're getting close to allowing us to grab Bin Laden...maybe their soldiers will do the actual takedown, but then transfer him to us. None of which would be happening if Gore or any other dem were president.

This morning I had to go to work for a bit and while we were waiting for events to begin, I got into a conversation with two others. We talked about investing in a particular stock we've been researching. One already bought, the other is waffling..and I told them I was waiting until after Feb 5th or so. They asked me why and against my better judgement, I mentioned the prophecies from the Hadith, Bin Ladin's purported video to come.

They both had a laugh - said it was BS.

Wonder what they'll think about what I said after they learn about the flight cancellations!

Doesn't matter. From the point of view of the jihadis those people are apostates (from Islam).

In spite of what's been said about this not being about religion, I think it's clear that that's exactly what it's about from the point of view of the radical islamists. From their point of view there is no division between religion and the state - it's all part of a seamless whole. You can't think of it in terms similar to those of Western thought.

I'm back and I agree with that meeting of all News networks honchos with Homeland Security. That has bothered me since it was reported when you consider the messages we have posted here re: that video from BL after the attack. I don't think that has been reported on any of the networks, has it?
