In a joint press conference on Thursday, January 22, Saudi Arabia and the United States called upon the UN Sanctions Committee to designate four branches of the Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation as financial supporters of terrorism. This finding is the result of a strong partnership between Saudi Arabia and various U.S. agencies in ongoing investigations to identify and shut down terrorist financing.
On Thursday, January 29, the United Nations Security Council announced that the four branches (Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation in Indonesia, Pakistan, Kenya and Tanzania) have been designated and are subject to UN sanctions, which trigger international obligations on all member countries and subjects the organizations to actions based on local laws.

>>Many of the jihad posts re: islands and other things have made me think about that area.
The references to Island may be a translation error.
StillProud had posted an explanation about Saudi being almost a synonym to Island earlier. And she explained why.
Arabic doesn't translate like a latin root language. Words in Arabic are associated with history and/or religion unlike latin based languages.

Exactly :)
Arabian Island = Arabian Peninsula.
Theres a very small difference between the words for peninsula and island and for some reason they are using the word for island rather than peninsula.
Saudi Arabia literally means Arabia of the Sauds or Arabia belonging to the Saud Family. The jihadis do not grant the kingdom that legitimacy.
Anyway I'm off to bed now (I hope!)

Not to be too explicitly gross, but when anyone is affected by a cold/allergies, have you ever noticed what 'seems' to be a scab, but in fact is not, it is good size and comes after blowing nose? It's dried as if it looked implanted?
Then after this 'thing' comes out of your nose, your cold/allergy, breathing (respiratory) seems cleared up?
Weird I know but my madness has a purpose of this has happened to you. I also queried people that came to pharmacy on this for two years.

Many are independents who don't have to have signs etc. on their trucks. I had two ME's install my cable modem and when they responded I later cancelled my sub to ComCast!

Yes, but what struct me as odd was the fact that they entered my yard through a gate without announcement. Any real cable/utility guy would not do that. These guys know that gates are usually there to keep dogs in. Then after the dogs chased the one guy on the ground I called them in. The guy went back out the gate and drove their van around and up the alley as he should have done in the first place. What really ticked me off was the sob left my gate open.
