WASHINGTON - Up against one of America's most publicly pious presidents, the Democrats who hope to replace him have taken to reminding voters that they believe in God, too.

From the Rev. Al Sharpton, an ordained Pentecostal minister at age 9, to Howard Dean, lampooned for switching Protestant denominations because of a feud over a bike path, the presidential candidates are battling the perception that Democrats aren't at home with issues of faith.

I don't make decisions in public life based on religious belief," says Sen. John Kerry, who professes a strong Roman Catholic faith but, contrary to the church, supports legal abortion and civil unions for gay couples.

Sorry, Senator Kerry, the Church teaches that you can't have it both ways. Advocating an immoral position publicly, as an elected official, encourages others to fall into sin. Either stop advocating immorality or quit calling yourself Catholic.

"I'm a religious person, too. I just don't talk about it much," said Dean, attributing this reticence to New England custom.

And Jeffrey Dahmer was a chef. He just didn't talk about it much.

Let's see, murder and stealing are okay; but, he's religious. Makes you wonder what religion they are claiming. Could it be some religion controlled by Nimrod?

Democrats Talk Up Their Religious Faith...

because it's election time and, once in office, will continue to support abortion, homosexual marriage, and removing any type of Christian imagery or ideals from all federally owned (and some privately own if they can get away with it) land.

The DemocRATs Prayer:
Our Government,
Which Art in Washington,
Hallowed by Thy Name.
Thy Benefits Come, thy Will Be Done,
In the courts as it is in Congress.
Give us this day our every need,
And supress us our conservatives
As we supress those who try to think against us.
And lead us not into religion,
But deliver us from Limbaugh, Amen.

People who don't really have any kind of relationship with God are SO obvious in their phoniness. How can one claim to be close to God, yet not have that closeness influence virtually everything they do? The answer, of course, is that they cannot.

I will say this: There's many a bold politician out there. I personally can't fathom having the courage to brazenly attempt to use God like this.

The concfused faith of the Democrat:

They believe the Buddha was crucified so Allah could reincarnate him as a guy with an elephant head.

Why are you bad mouthing Nimrod?
He was a great and mighty hunter.

"Makes you wonder what religion they are claiming."

Demonrats are always spouting the Pro-choice mantra to allow the killing of unborn children. If anything they are Baal worshipers.

""What you see now are the various Democratic candidates kind of groping for a religious strategy. . . . For some of them, it doesn't come naturally . . ."

Now I wonder why, possibly because they don't have any? Why else to explain people that have to "grope" for something.

Wesley Clark, a Catholic who attends Presbyterian services, sums up the Democratic take this way: "All religions have one thing in common. If you are more fortunate you should reach out to people who are less fortunate."
