Congratulations. Hope some of the CINO's came away with the fortitude to buck the growing trend of anything Republican is good.

It was great to be there. I met a lot of good people there and saw some for the first time in two years.
Wayne LaPierre did a great job and blasted McCain/Feingold and told the truth about it.
Ann Coulter was sick, but still spoke anyway. She was great, as usual.
The Ultimate Warrior showed Dean how a battle cry is done.
I met Dave Rogers, Pat Kennedy's opponent as well. Good luck to him.
The 5th Congressional District in NC(Burr's old one) is followed heavily here. Vernon Robinson was there, and spoke about his experience in standing up for the Boy Scouts which were attacked on the City council. (I believe he said he was an Eagle Scout). He speaks his mind and would have my vote.

Repeating my "CPAC Report" from this thread:
LIVE FROM CPAC!...
It was so nice to see (or meet for the first time) so many FReeper FRiends at CPAC 2004! :-)
We had a great time at CPAC, and did our best to recruit new FReepers everywhere we were, whether attending one of the sessions, at the CPAC banquets, in the Marriott bar, etc. We even (hopefully) recruited a new FReeper from Kansas on Sunday while stopping for a couple of hours at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum on our way home. We just want every conservative we meet to have as much fun on FR as we've been having over the past three or so years, I guess... lol
Highlights of our trip to CPAC (besides the #1 highlight... spending time with fellow FReepers!):
Having a front-row seat (just by dumb luck) for speeches by: Vice President Cheney, Ann Coulter and Ollie North. Hearing wonderful speeches by: Dr. Alan Keyes, Sen. Bill Frist, Sen. Zell Miller, Sen. Mitch McConnell, Sen. George Allen, RNC Chairman Ed Gillespie, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, David Horowitz, Michelle Malkin, Phyllis Schlafly, Wayne LaPierre and former Congressman Bob Barr, among many other speakers.
Of the many debates we attended, probably the most contentious was the Immigration debate: Immigration Reform: Recognizing Reality or Surrendering Principles? On the panel were Daniel Griswold of the Cato Institute, Michelle Malkin and Phyllis Schalfly. The Moderator was John Fund of The Wall Street Journal. If the debates weren't so carefully timed, I have a feeling that this one could've gone on for hours and hours!
Here's hoping we'll make it to CPAC 2005!

BTTT CPAC cheers! (although I admit to experiencing the "end of CPAC" blues... It begins to hit Saturday mornings when Radio Row is sitting empty ;) What a joy to meet so many other FReepers this year, as well as the FRee Dominion people.. We were quite a force!

Sorry I didn't get a chance to meet more of you there. I think I met some FR folks last year too.
Pardon my ignorance but who won the Ronald Reagan award? I did not go to the banquet and I just plain forgot to ask someone the next day! I know they always give the award to a very deserving person though.
Overall I had a good time but once again I will urge ACU and the organizers to move the conference to a bigger hotel. I just found the big crowds to be a bit claustrophobic. Not to mention that with so many college kids around I felt out of place as an old guy in his mid 40s. ;-)

Please ping your appropiate ping lists.
The post includes the group picture which I shot and some quicktime movies.
I am a bit late in posting the pics from CPAC. It took a while to upload as I kept all of them in high resolution mode in case someone wants to print some. Please have a broadband connection or lots of patience.
All the pictures can be found at this location here.
