**CPAC 2004 Wrap up: post your reports and pictures HERE!**

Post your CPAC reports and pictures HERE!

CPAC this year was fantastic! This year there we had between 60 and 70 Freepers there, and those were just the ones I was able to count.

What was new for this year, was that there was an FR booth; our Canadian Operatives, FREE DOMINION had a booth; the DC chapter had a booth, and the new media operation Rightalk with carries Radio Free Republic had a booth, in addition to broadcasting the whole convention and interviewing top notch conservatives pundits and figures.

The FR booth was filled with pictures from the Rally For America we coordinated earlier in 2003 and also displayed some of Registered's finest work. It is always a tremendous draw for CPAC attendees.

Many kudos go out to our magnificent friends at Free Dominion who are spreading the conservative word up north by organizing their own CPAC.

More kudos go out to Libertina and Firebrand for holding down the FR fort by managing the booth! You guys were fabulous!

I think we have a larger and larger contingent of Freepers at CPAC. One of the best parts of the attending the conference is meeting freepers I "see" on line for the first time. (After I apologized for flaming them, we always hit it off!) I encourage everyone to try and make the trip next year.

Yes, herding cats. I remember the Rally for America in Clearwater. Numerous freepers were there but we were not cohesive. I did stick www.freerepublic.com labels on people or their signs and managed to get new fr members here. "If you can't find your freepers, make more."

Come to think of it, Dan does look like Kevin Spacey. If you want to find Dan, just look for the ladies - just teasing Dan - not!

Gee thanks, especially with the rumors about the guy. :( If you want to find Dan, just look for the ladies - just teasing Dan - not!
You give me too much credit. LOL.

Deathly, or at least it felt that way! You wouldn't believe the train ride back, no toilets and freezing cold and - well, damn they are declaring that Edwards won not even an hour after the stupid polls close!

I hope that you and VOC feel better soon.

I had met Governor Miller years ago when I lived in Savannah and wanted to meet him again. Luck was with me when went to the cocktail party prior to the Reagan Banquet.

Anyway, the upshot was he remembered the boss, me and we got the photograph!

Taxman was ready to go and wanted to get out of there. I'm so sorry that I didn't get to see you before we left.

Till next year or meetings, whichever comes first. Back to bed for me...

What kind of camera do you have, that you take such wonderful photos?

Fantastic photos and Quicktime movies, Cacique! You've outdone yourself. :-)

Naturally I have a couple of technical questions. I'll contact you via FReepmail for those. Thanks again for providing all these great pix for us.

When affordable digital cameras first hit the market, PCWorld hired a professional photographer (who had not used digital cameras yet) to test a few of them.

The reviewing photographer did not care about pixels, battery life or ease of use; His only concern was whether or not the photos looked like true-color real film.

The photographer skeptically tested several cameras, most with higher prices, more features and higher resolution than the DC215. The photographer was actually surprised that there was ANY camera that could produce a true-film looking picture: That camera was the DC215.

Unfortunately, Kodak got caught up in the "convenience" aspect of marketing cameras and has since abandoned this wonderful technology. (I've had several conversations with their engineers.) They will be reintroducing something at a much higher price in the future.

By the way, this was a less-than-$250 camera. Go figure.
