Just got called by a Pollster calling Republican households for the Pennsylvania Primary. Even though I am the only male and only registered Democrat in the household, the pollster was none the wiser. She asked if we were planning to vote for Specter or Toomey in the primary and I said Pat Toomey. She asked if that was definite or probably and, playing along, I said probably.
Then she listed a bunch of issues and asked what was most important to us. I said the war on terrorism because nothing else matters if we don't win it.
Finally, she asked if we were pro-life or pro-choice and how strong. I replied strongly pro-life. It was only then that she identified herself as a Spechter pollster, thanked me and hung up. Anybody else?

Yeah, I'm still a registered Rat, a throwback to the days of my first election in 1976 when the Country Club Republicans who ran our state party dissed Ronald Reagan and the local Democrat party who put up a true gentleman as a Governor. Every year I think about switching, but it is too much fun to disrupt their primary.

Okay, as long as you're a spy behind enemy lines...

Say, it wasn't dinner time. Are you sure it was a Dem pollster? I'm quite sure they call only during dinnertime.

Sure wish they would call me!!
So sick of hearing Spector's lies on his re-eletion commercials claiming to be a "fiscal conserative"
Jack

I ALSO GOT THE SAME POLE PERSON..
So the poster was correct. I was asked the same questions.. I infered that I was undecided (My vote is secret yet).. I heard the standard laundry list and I answered that I want smaller Federal, State, and local government spending.. She then promptly hung up.. (Spector?? I dono)..

Your answer to the pro-life question probably invalidated your standing in the poll. I rather think that this is how zogby comes up with some of his "conclusions."

Makes one wonder what kind of poll and results that will be reported. The left wing media manipulation is frightening.

Do you intend to switch your registration to GOP so you can vote for Toomey? Or does PA have open primaries?
