Howard Dean Goes Nuts on the Internet! (Dean Remixes)

Howard Dean -- the toast of internetdom!

Er, sort of.

Dean is all the, um... rage... these days, and nowhere does it show more than at DeanGoesNuts.com, a site that brings to mind the "Star Wars Kid" internet video remix phenomenon.

In just 3 days, the owner of www.DeanGoesNuts.com, a college student in Indiana, has compiled nearly FIFTY creative remixes of Dean's Tuesday night speech in Iowa. Sound like a lot? Not hardly. Caner Ozdemir (who, interestingly, seems to be a staunch Howard Dean supporter) has stopped accepting new submissions for the weekend in order to put together some submission guidelines.

A few of the tracks on DeanGoesNuts.com honor Dean by putting bits of his campaign speeches to music. Most of them, however, are just plain fun - building on Dean's now-famous hoarse-voiced Iowa speech.

Some personal favorites of this reviewer: Crazy Dean Breakdown, the Trance Mix, the Funky Mix, Dean Dances 1 and 2, and the energetic Dean 300 Techno Mix.

Ozdemir, who expected "100-200 hits a day MAX" to the site, admits that things have "spiraled out of control." As of Friday evening, hits to the site were well past 90,000 and climbing rapidly toward the century mark.

I think if you guys want to Google Bomb Michael Moore, you will need to structure your tags differently. Also, I think that the tagline area might not interpret HTML, so you might want to write the code, make a notepad txt file on your desktop, and just paste it into the bottom of each post that you submit.

Michael Miserable failure Moore

looks like this:
Michael < a href="http://www.michaelmoore.com">Miserable failure< /a> Moore

Remove the space before the a href= and the /a, then paste to get a working link.

That's the equivalent of putting "miserable failure" in quotes at google.

What you're aiming for is, miserable failure (without quotes), and hit "I'm feeling lucky."

Right now, that still takes you to bush's biography.

I'd also make miserable small case. And Riley's right, it should be in a link, thusly:

Michael miserable failure Moore

Congratulations! You got credited and a plug for FR on a Dean supporter's website!

BTW, someone has copied his page at The Conservative Store if you want to correct them also; your song is there too.

It works either way, although the quotes make it more selective.

Goggle is not case sensitive.

Also, can the search engine distinguish between the code in the post or tagline? I wouldn't think so.

Does adding the name around the link add relevance of the keyword to the URL?

Correct.

I wouldn't think so, either. I'll just paste mine in the bottom of my posts.

Unknown, although it was structured that way in the example that I saw. It might however, explain to other posters why one keeps putting links to Moore's site in their posts. And, it couldn't hurt.

As I was working on my 'Googlebomb Codeblock', I noticed something. Hillary has pics of her hanging out with the military all over her website. She only pretends to give a crap about them when she wants something from the voters.

Uh-oh.

Why not?

How does it work? I'm not completely familiar with how the Google engine sees the taglines.

A few ill-chosen words have sunk many a US presidential bid. Howard Dean (news - web sites), however, could end up having shattered his White House aspirations with a primal scream. Here a 'Mean Dean' action figure(AFP/File)
