You're right the Blacks have equal or better reason to flee the Democrat party, but they have been manipulated, exploited and subjugated to the promises of cradle to grave welfare of the left. There used to be an essay on the Democratic Socialist web page which explained the use of the term "progressive" as an alternative to the term,
"socialist", because they said that the Black population were scared of the term, socialist and that they needed the Blacks to swell the numbers of the dissatisfied. ( I am sure they have deleted this essay by now. It is soooo politically incorrect.)

The worst thing that ever happened to blacks as a group is when the dims hijacked the civil rights movement. Since then we have inner cities turned into cultural, social, and physical ghettoes. The other day, Wesley Clark stated that, if elected, he would provide yet more goodies for Native Americans.

I've finally had my fill of this. When the first settlers came to America they found the American Indians in a pathetic state. They were savages living in animal skin huts, smoking dope, fighting each other with rocks and sticks, and worshiping animals. Granted, there were some tragedies inflicted upon the Indians, but there were also some good things bestowed upon them. We taught them English, introduced them to God, showed them more suitable dwellings, and helped transform their attire into something more than loin cloths and bird feathers.

Today they get special consideration and compensation from the federal government. Is it our fault that most of them have become avid whiskey drinkers that place their hopes on the prospect of opening a desolate casino? No.

As for the rest of the article's content, the left is going about their usual path of destruction. They "celebrate" diversity, but diversity has done nothing more than create a multitude of separate little groups that compete for power. United We Stand, Divided We Fall.

Strange, but you could make equally persuasive arguments that blacks should leave the dem party, as well.

Yes, blacks have a much more compelling reason to leave: they are being clearly used, but worse is the psychological and cultural debilitation through the 'crutch' they must tote to signify membership in victimhood.

How would you like to be a black parent trying to raise children to be winners in life's endeavors, principle component of which is MAKE NO EXCUSES, and they have this victimhood ball and chain to deal with, courtesy of the Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, NAACP crowd.

Great article! I recall my old uneducated Democratic Dad in eastern Texas angrily talk about the thugs who hid under their white masks while they burned crosses for racial purity. He would roll over in his grave if he could see where the hooded thugs have taken his Party. Having failed to destroy the Nation during the Civil War, the descendants of these thugs have now shed their hoods and moved into the urban centers where they now wage a war on the very foundations of American society by attempting to divide it by class and race. Michael Moore, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and their ilk are simply Americans who align themselves with a Party that hates America, but are too stupid to realize they are stomping around in a farm field with a cross burners.

Wonderful Piece, and so right on target! But I have to disagree with him on this particular line about his father, where he states,
"My father was a good man and an old school liberal but he made the mistake of thinking government spending correlates with helping people. I will asume for the sake of argument, that his father died in old age, and in which case I would reply, I doubt that he would!
I have many family member that are well onto their 70's, and while being truly conservative in their spending and their moral values, they still believe that the Democratic party is a party for the working class and the poor.

I have argued and proved to them that their party has been taken over by leftist, and all to no avail.

I firmly believe that if Hitler was alive today and running for the Presidency on the Democratic ticket, most all elderly Democrats would ignore his past and vote whole heartly for him!

Yes, I am serious. When I said they are anti-religion, I was thinking particularly of religiously practicing Jews and Christians. Those Jews and Christians harbor ideas that are "dangerous" to ungodly regimes which hate the true God. If the devil isn't persecuting you, then he has already has you.

I've been reading Star Parker's book, Uncle Sam's Plantation. She is a black woman who gets it. Why is it, that with all the hype over black history month (I'm still waiting for white history month), that real black success stories are seldom heard of? Star's book should be required reading for these sycophants to the RAT race hustlers.
