Jim Robinson did exactly that in 2000. He banished a large number of Brigadiers for advocating just what you propose. For advocating what exactly?

You evidently do, as you're the one saying Bush is more dangerous than a Democrat. Politics is serious business. Our discussion here is just entertainment. Feeling entertained?

"Our greatest responsibility is the active defense of the American people. Twenty-eight months have passed since September 11th, 2001" -
Thats right 28 months and we are still mucking around with Iraq and Afganistan. No, worse we are rebuilding them. We should have given Iraq 24 hours to evacuate Bagdad and Nuked that city on the 12th! Then demand Bin Laden or Tehran would be next. Who would have thought the greatest SuperPower in the world would not be able to wip nations like Aganistan and Iraq in a few months because it was hamstrung by something called Compassionate Conservatism.
Quick trials and Bin Laden and Saddam would have been in grave holes quick and the rest of the terror leaders would have been doing what kadafi is doing now.
No coaliton needed.
Tax cuts during a war? during budget deficits? during a huge national debt? I'm all for returning my money AFTER my debts have been paid. We racked up the debt - knocking down the Iron Curtain. We need to pay it off before we get tax cuts. Oh yeah, there is a war? Did we cut taxes during WW2?
"My administration is promoting free and fair trade to open up new markets for America's entrepreneurs and manufacturers and farmers to create jobs for American workers" - pleeeeeese come on man. Jobs are going to Mexico and the rest of the third World. Unlimited! There is no 65000 limit on H1b visas because of the exceptions in the fine print(www.fairus.org)there is no limit on the number of H1B and L1 visas being issued by this government to take our best hi tech jobs and give them to anyone who is NOT American. Other jobs are being outsourced insourced every source but American sourced.
Our President wants to give 15 billion dollars for Aids in Africa and just .5 billion to community colleges here in the U.S.
This is not conservative , its not even Patriotic, but it sure is compassionate.
Me well, never was down with the compassionate thing. I like the way Pershing was compassionate with moslems in the Philipines, ....lined em up, dipped bullets in pig blood, shot em, thru em in a hole and drops cut up pigs on top of em.

That sort of thing only exists in the dim recesses of your mind. The only thing dim is your ability to read. It was stated as a blanket statement. It is a fairy tale. You better go back and read again, the origianl post. I never let BS statement like that go unchallenged. The truth is LOTS AND LOTS of Republican do NOT support MANY of his policies. The author cited two. Both slam dunks that even many Democrats support.
When you can't refute what someone says, refute something they didn't say, works every time,,,,,, for strawmen.

A President who won't deport Illegals now, won't deport legalized Illegals later on. I don't totally agree with that. You're not taking into consideration the difference in politics of a president in the first and second terms. Clinton took on an extreme leftist view after his re-election in 1996 because he no longer had to appease the moderates for a vote.

The bigger killer is angering your base the way GWB is doing. Just ask Bush 41.Ill bet 90% of the people on this forum vote for W, despite all the rhetoric of late. One of the things that makes FR such a great place is its intellect. There are some real smart people here. It is for that reason I made the above statement....
Just ask Bush 41
. Yep, those who voted against Bush41, Perot, or sat out the vote "to show Bush hes not being conservative enough for me", are fully responsible for the ensuing 8 years of lies, deceit, terror attacks, and murder. And the stakes are much higher now, than they were in '92. There is no way the combined intellect on this forum cant see what will happen if all these threats of third party voting, sitting out the vote or writing in a candidiate comes to pass..

Regarding his "spending": It's DOMESTIC spending which goes right back into our own economy and keeps people employed and keeps the money circulating. That's a good thing. If that were true, then a country's prosperity would be directly proportional to the size of its government as a share of GDP. In fact, the exact opposite is true!

Ah, yes. The Hillary Clinton and Ollie North defense: "I don't recall that." It was a lot more than that.
A convenient tactical argument but inaccurate. I can name the names of those banned (who JimRob reinstated several times before final banning) and I can also name which Brigadiers actually voted for Buchanan instead of Bush, a very short list. I don't think you can match me on this.
I don't count the liberal disruptors who got banned as members of the Brigade, any more than I count the one-day wonders who claim to be Bush supporters but advocate sodomy marriage and other real liberal stuff as being real Bushbots. If you paid much attention, the actual Brigade was always a fairly small cadre.
Try to distinguish between the real Bushbots, real bashbots and real (former) Brigadiers. Most FReepers who fit these categories have been here for the long haul and are pretty well-known to old-timers.

If Bush was anymore of a RINO he would be grey, have a horn in his forhead and be running across the plains of central Africa.
