First Photos from CPAC 2004
CPAC ^ | January 21, 2004 | Nick Danger

CPAC officially opens tomorrow, so here we are today setting up the booths. There are three -- count 'em -- three Freeper booths at CPAC this year. FR/FRN has one, the DC Chapter has a booth, and this year our affiliate in Canada, Free Dominion also has booth. So there are lots of Freepers from all over North America here.

So here we are, setting up the booths and taking over the bar afterwards.

Boy, Howdy, do I wish that I could be there with you, rather than back in North Carolina doing my chores. Have a great time, y'all.

Is anyone discussing on how to go about repealing the freedom-of-speech infringements of the Campaign Finance Reform bill? I hope that they pursue this at CPAC.

So how do we get to listen to CPAC through the Web? Someone mentioned it would be available starting this morning.

My understanding is that a Congressman from Georgia is looking at introducing a repeal of the TV ad ban in CFR. That is, of course, the most rotten aspect of Campaign Finance "Reform." If that is introduced, and if President Bush picks it up as a political issue, it might get passed this year.

This should be pursued at CPAC. But in the long run I don't see a solution to this problem until Justice O'Connor resigns from the Court and is replaced by a new Justice who has read, and understands and respects, the Constitution of the United States.
