Will read the piece later...but your comments crystallize all that is wrong with the Democrat Party's use of the U.S. Military post Franklin D. Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman.

While these two Democrat Commander In Chiefs had respect for the men (and few women) who wore the Uniform during their presidential terms, everyone else (Johnson, Carter, and Clinton) misused and mocked those who served during their tenures.

And what is more reprehensible is the way many of the Democrat candidates (including the latest incarnation, whom Talk Show host Laura Ingraham accurately described the junior senator from Illinois as "Kerry Redux") have often tried to fool the American public into believing they "Support Our Troops" while their proposed policies state the opposite.
