Did anyone else see that?!
Just now on Fox News, Howard Dean was shown at one of his rallies singing his rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner. He got many of the words wrong and didn't seem to know other parts of it.

Is this surprising to anybody? Why would anti-americans be expected to know patriotic songs?

Did you write lyrics for Bruce Springsteen? Your little ditty reminds me of 'Blinded By The Light'
:)

Yes, but aren't these anti-war types the ones always talking about dissent? I'm pulling for Howard too :-)

Somewhere I read that during WWII when an unknown soldier appeared, trying to enter a secure area, they would ask him to sing the last verse of the Stars Spangled Banner. Only the enemy would know the words.

You know, I have watched that clip of him today probably 10 times....the one where he's saying, "I'm going to...blah,blah, blah, and then I'm going to the White House!!!! (Followed by an unintelligible wail or whoop, not sure what it was.)
Anyway, just wanted to thank Howie for the laughs. It gets funnier everytime I watch it. He is literally putting the comedy greats to shame!

Didn't the same thing happen to Lieutenant Frank Drebin at the baseball game? you are correct, sir.

He'd of screwed it up a helluva lot more if he had just started screaming at the hecklers.

I am no Howard Dean fan, but it was obvious that hecklers were being led out of the rally and he was singing (you must admit a clever idea to deal with that situation) I guess he figured "You sit down. You've had your say and now I'm going to have my say!" wasn't working for him.

There is some funny stuff, also lots of duplicate posts and some guy trying to promote his website. I almost feel sorry for these people.

Did crazy-eyed Dean emit a nonsensical yelp and aimlessly pump his fists in the air after his failed attempt to sing? Dean is a sissy and Tom Harkin is his Iowa "corn-hole." Those two genuinely deserve eachother. The only songs Dean knows are "Send in the Clowns" and "Let's Get Physical."
