My guess it was a heart attack, he was a very big man.

Very sorry to hear that. He was a great reporter in the old school way...also seemed to be a very likeable fellow as well.
I would've loved the chance to hear him tell of all the stories he didn't run with.

I used to watch his show once in awhile. But I was out of the loop on the cancer diagnosis. I commented to my wife just a couple of weeks ago that he didn't look good.
Very sad.
