Nachman just died in NYC...Breaking...he was a GREAT newsman.

My guess it was a heart attack, he was a very big man.

Very sorry to hear that. He was a great reporter in the old school way...also seemed to be a very likeable fellow as well.
I would've loved the chance to hear him tell of all the stories he didn't run with.

He was out for months with VERY serious cancer problems. When he returned he had lost a considerable amount of weight but seemed weak.
He was a good guy, even tho he was on the left.

He was more than a newsman. He was the MSNBC newsroom's editor-in-chief, the equivalent to Brit Hume on FNC.

No, he'd been off MSNBC after he was diagnosed with cancer. He was on and off after his treatment. I haven't seen him recently.
I'll miss him. He was a great newsman of the old school.
