IA caucus - Kerry 38% (winner), Edwards 32%, Dean 18% (97% reporting) (Gephardt drops out)

FYI it's being carried live on Cspan. They said coverage starts at 7 pm ET, with the actual caucus at 7:30 pm ET.

I wonder if Gephardt will retire from politics now. Yes, it was reported he will not run for re-election nor will Edwards. Wish we could say the same about Lieberman who has seemingly been out campaigning since 1999.

I suspect that Gephardt will retire from Congress.....when you add Texas 7 new congresscritters, it's highly unlikely that the dems will be in power for at least ten years.
