>>Brit just mentioned that Dicky is going to St. Louie instead of NH tmrw! Is he leaving politics for good?

Sounds like it. Looks like Howdy-Dickie is toast. Turn out the lights, his party is OVER!

Lehane.... Now with Hillary's campaign.

Wasn't he the one peddling that old story of Bush getting a DWI for weeks before the 2000 election, only to have it finally run on Friday before the vote?

Didn't President Hart win Iowa? heh heh :) As did President Gephardt ('88) and President Dole ('88).

And Bush beat Reagan in '80. Clinton got 4% in Iowa in '92 and only took a second in New Hampshire.

Dean's far from dead. But I am very surprised that Dean didn't break 25%. And Gephart isn't going to hit 15%. A real shock for people like me who count organization as everything.

I think Iowa is a fluke. Dean is still the frontrunner but he's vulnerable now.

Howie just claimed that Carter endorsed him.

He is such a natural liar, I can't see how he lost a Democrat primary.

Gephardt is finished. Not even 'fufkin would vote for him now.

Stick the proverbial fork in him.

Now, who will he endorse?

I'd bet money about who instigated this. But I doubt the war story is even 100% true, if at all.

This is too convenient IMHO. It could well be heart felt and be totally cool, but I sure wish Carl Cameron would have asked the question, "Did you call the Kerry Campaign, or did the Kerry Campaign call you?"

Regards,

TS
