In 3d hour of today's Limbaugh show, Rush was referring to a newspaper article from California. Was having a little trouble remembering some mundane details of the story and remarked "I'm having a little trouble remembering all the details of the story. I got it off Free Republic this morning!"

Rumors confirmed. We are the premier Conservative research source in the nation.

PS, If Rush reads this, I know who has your Grandfather's first set of law books, along with a letter from Westlaw congratulating him on opening his practice, etc.

He would be glad to send you letter, copy, etc.

I'd bet he'd just lurk. It would be too easy for someone to identify him by words he uses, and he probably wouldn't risk that.

I swear, I watch Jay Leno's monologue nearly every night, and things that I see on FR just that day, make it into his jokes. I'm dead certain at least one of his joke writers is a lurker, at the very least.

More than that, he uses us for show prep sometimes.

I once was in my car, Rush brought up an article I had read and commented on that morning on FR. All of a sudden I'm hearing my posted comments almost word for word coming from Rush.

I had isolated a single line from the article, highlighted it, calling it the "money quote." When commenting on the same article, Rush said "Money quote - sometimes called the pull quote - here." He read the exact same quote I had identified. Gave my exact comments, almost word for word, and then went on.

And no I wasn't angry. Just honored to be on the Rush show-prep team. I'm sure I'm not alone in that here.

Um...twice since he's been back I swear he spoke of two different posts I had made....one about the economic situation citing a paragraph from a financial newsletter I had received. I was pleased....this is a SHARING place, isn't it. If this helps him get his/often our message out, great! I imagine many so called other "journalists" and other radio talk hosts do the same.

FR's stock must have gone way up during his darkest hours and when there was unremitting support for him on The Forum. Also FR has improved a great deal and with more research all of which I am sure he appreciates.
