RIYADH, Saudi Arabia (AP) - Saudi authorities have discovered a number of camps outside Saudi cities used for training al-Qaida militants to carry out terror operations, an Interior Ministry official said Thursday.
Two militant figures killed in terror sweeps last year - Turki Nasser al-Dandani and Yosif Salih Fahd Ala'yeeri - commanded the camps, the official told The Associated Press on condition of anonymity. More camp leaders are being sought, the official said.

When they're done with Camp Casablanca, we have more satellite photos to show them.

The Saudis are practising the Arab version of Clintonism. Remember when Willie bombed some factory in Sudan to get everyones' focus from Monica and the lies he was telling about their relationship?
Same thing here. The Saudis have "discovered" this little camp of jaywalkers and hoping it will contiune to conceal their support for all the other camps they run for axe murderers. We must soon consider replacing the Saudis as keepers of the holy places.

As I posted elsewhere . . . they found them by looking in the Yellow Pages under "Terrorist."

I wish I had saved that one thread after the bombing started in Saudi. I said the Sauds would not stand for this and would go after them. Sure enough. Will be interesting to see where this ends up. The fall out from our going into Iraq is not just with Kaddafi.

The (corrupt) Royal Family is walking a tightrope. They have been willing for many years to appease the Sunni (Wahhabi) common people. They have let terrorist train in their country, et al. If the Royal Family is SERIOUSLY going to go after the terrorists, how long will it take for the common Saudis to revolt?

It's not at all surprising that the camps are there...what is surprising is that the Saudis would admit it.

Did he actually admit to arresting people while the camps were active or did he just make the announcement saying they had "discovered" the camps so that their participants had time to head to friendlier digs?

I got the distinct impression that they didn't go after the rank and file jihadist but just looking for the leaders. I guess they figure the jihadists are sheeple without the leaders. Seems a dangerous gamble to me...but they've been playing that same gamble for decades. One day their number is going to come up, and it's likely to be sooner than later.

Well I figure they will use excuse to get rid of anyone opposing them as well.

I agree, now I wonder what they are going to do about it. Given the amount of intestinal fortitude they've shown over the past several decades I would assume they will do next to nothing. Probably, they will try another round of bribery.
