White House 'capitalized' on 9/11 fear, says Kennedy

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy yesterday said President Bush shouldn't be re-elected because the administration marched the country to an unjustified but long-planned war with Iraq by twisting the truth and capitalizing on fear.

"The administration capitalized on fear created by 9/11, put a spin on the intelligence, and put a spin on the truth to justify a war that could very well become one of the worst blunders in more than two centuries of foreign policy," the Massachusetts Democrat said in a speech yesterday. "We did not have to go to war."

...one of the worst blunders in more than two centuries of foreign policy

Kennedy must have forgotten the Bay of Pigs fiasco.

The ONLY time I will listen to any story about Ted Kennedy, in the future, is when the announcement is made that he has assumed room temperature.

Just click on the Washington Times and it will take you to the newspaper then go to the Letter to the Editor and submit a letter in response to Senator Kennedy's comments.

Kennedy seems to have forgetton that easily the greatest blunder America ever entered into was Vietnam...and it was his brother who got us into it.

Unlike LBJ or Clinton though Bush 43 seems to have learned that when you make the decision to send American boys into combat, you let them do what they need to do, and therefore we won Iraq in a way that we never even had the chance to in Vietnam.

Of course, all this ranting by a senior Democrat just shows that reaching out to the Democrats is futile. They, as they have said, view Bush, not AQ, Islamism, or Arabic fascism as the real enemy.

This is why Bush will be re-elected, which will only unhenge the leftists more. Even with control over much of American culture and media, they still can't lie their way back into power no matter how frothing at the mouth they and their media tools become.

Ted should have been executed years ago for murder. Now he chooses the moral high ground? I really don't care to hear what that old drunken murder has to say.

Let me see if I got this straight...

When Republicans react to a terrorist attack, it's "capitalizing" on the event.

...but when Democrats howl for more gun laws after a school shooting, it's called "caring for the community."

Pardon me, but where the hell do those fat chumps get off? And why aren't the Capitol Hill Republicans bashing them over the heads with these simple facts? What the hell is the deal here?

Ted the biggest ripoff in history is how your father made a fortune shorting the stock market during the great depression! Some say he caused the crash to fill his pockets. What say you Ted?

The Kennedys made their fortune selling bootleg whiskey. No one should ever forget this.

...that he has assumed room temperature.

Algor mortis is the process of a formerly live body assuming room (surrounding) temperature.

Coincidence?
