We are so priviledge to have the authority on what it means to be an American, a soldier, a Christian... Any other areas of expertise you'd like to share?

I'm trying to focus on the Mars thing (think happy thoughts). Ugh!!! I wonder if Bush would have felt more obliged to play a conservative if no 9/11 in order to ward off a primary challenge. However, if the only credible challenger was McCain, he could've been even worse.

If the plan doesn't get voted on, or gets voted down, will you still pout like a schoolboy and not vote for Bush?So what if it doesn't pass? We know what his INTENTIONS are, and once the election is over with, he won't be afraid to push his crappy agenda down our gargantas.

You ain't much of an American, riri."
Wasn't too long before we got the big racist card come out!

Memo to Jr.: they have an identity. Criminal. Help them "leave the shadows", and begin deportation. Or push the CLEAR Act so that the states can do it themselves.

I wouldn't say I SUPPORT him. I listen to him. SOme of what he says makes sense, some of what he says is just inflamatory rhetoric to get a rise out of his audience. I don't even think he personally believes it.
You can't compare Savage to people like Hannity, O'Reilly, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, etc. He's a showman - a conservative showman, but a showman. He more entertainment than politics. A light hitter from a mental perspective.
Is he anti-Christian? I haven't heard him say anything really anti-Christian, but I only listen to him at times in my workshop when I'm in there late.
My favorite radio show conservatives are Mark Levin, G. Gordon Liddy, Hannity and Monica Whalley.

Yeah, and I also remember that a lot of the Texicans defending the Alamo were of Mexican descent. The Texas Revolution wasn't about white guys fighting hispanic guys. It was about totalitarianism against freedom. Freedom won.

"From what you wrote, you ain't much of a Christian, either."
I have no beliefs Sinkspur but I would have to say that from what I have read the only person that casts judgement upon others is christ himself. That being said if you yourself are espousing to be a "christian" then you yourself are not following Christian values. Then again I once read also the he without sin cast the 1st stone.
You are a hypocrit.

Then could you reconcile the clause in the Constitution that MANDATES that the federal govt protect us from foreign invasions and Bush's lack of border enforcement? Please try... No president has enforced the borders against illegals in the last 20 years. That's not exactly "an invasion." Anyway, these people are working here, aren't they? They're keeping your vegetable prices low.
I see Bush's plan as a way to initiate a discussion on this subject. It will likely not be what he wants, nor will it be the full amnesty that Democrats want.
Something's got to be done, and he's making an attempt, short of deporting 10 million people, which the American people WILL NOT STAND FOR.

Fwiw, Michael Savage is a terrible voice for conservatism. One could very easily make a case that he is a racist. He was recently caught wishing a caller he believed to be gay that he hopes he gets AIDS and dies. He is a defender of Slobodan Milosevic, who is a socialist. He might not be anti-Christian, but as a Christian, I would have a hard time defending giving Michael Savage my time or defense.
