Freepers,

I really need your prayers tonight. My husband and I are going through an extremely difficult time. I am pregnant with our 3rd child and due to an extremely low heart rate we have only been given a 20% chance of his or her survival. This coupled with the fact that my beautiful 4 year old has been diagnosed with a cyst on her brain that is causing her serious headaches and she will most likely be having surgery (go to the pediatric neurologist on the 19th) and that my mother has pneumonia, we'll I'm overwhelmed. I'm crying my eyes out and I know that can't be good for the baby, but I can't help it. I know that freepers are the best people in the world and if you could pray for my family now I would sincerely appreciate it.

Touch this unborn child, I pray, that the heartbeat return to normal ... overrule the earthly physicians, for in Your hand is divine healing. Great Physician, touch also their beloved child and diminish this cyst ... cast it out and may it not return. Look with favor upon volchef's Mom, struggling with pneumonia. Give the greatest of wisdom and guidance to those tending her, that she be responsive to treatment.

Thank You, Creator God, that in overwhelming circumstances, You are in the midst. May each feel the comfort and beauty of Your presence ... grant the greatest strength and assurance to Dad as he ministers to each need in his family. I am so sorry for your troubles, volchef.
I posted something yesterday in which I believe with all my heart:

"The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the distance between your knees and the floor."

I have lived by that rule for many years, and it's pulled me out of many bad situations.
Paul tells us to pray constantly, and I do try to commune with God during my everyday activities.
But it's that time late at night when I'm on my knees beside my bed that God and I can shut out the world and talk.
His peace that passeth understanding never fails to soothe my worries.
I pray that you can find that solace, dear one.

Dear Heavenly Father, we come to you on our knees asking for your love and protection for this woman and her family.
Please grant her a respite from all her worries.
Heal her unborn child, dear Lord, and remove the cyst from the brain of her little one.
Give her mother your strength, Father, and heal her lungs.
We ask for complete healing for this family, dear Lord.
We have seen your miracles, Heavenly Father. We believe.
Please show us your power and your love.
