BERKELEY, Calif. (AP) - Chances are, Democratic Party consultants won't take credit for the hardest-hitting anti-Bush ad to air on network TV this month. That honor will likely go MoveOn.org, an online group that has become too potent for establishment politicians to ignore.

"In addition another Freeper has shared the sites that Dean is using to solicit campaign donations in Japan through decoy inter-net sites in the US. It should be an interesting week for the left."

My mind may be wandering but I think I remember someone saving a version of the Moveon.org home page before they removed the link to the CPUSA.

That would be nice, also. MoveOn was started by the National Lawyers guild, the openly communist lawyers group, headquartered in Seattle (think Lynne Stewart).

Maybe the apoplectic single-issue tunnel-visioneers here on FR should go move to MoveOn.org. After all, they have the same message, But Good!©

"Computer entrepreneurs who made a fortune after inventing the flying toaster screen saver..."

15 years ago, the last four words would have been total gibberish to everyone in the country.

They trivialize the Bush-as-Hitler ad by speaking of it as one of 1500. Wasn't it one of a much smaller group of "winning entries"?

MoveOn must be systematically discredited as a "hate group" for "Hate America First" leftists. We must never call them a "mainstream" group. They should be mocked using their own excesses- such as calling everyone they disagree with Hitler. Once America sees MoveOn as a seething cauldron of hate, they will question whether they want to associate themselves with those extremists and the Democrat party. MoveOn and DU give us plenty of ammunition to discredit the liberal movement, and in the process, make the Democrat party seem more extremist.

Make absolutely no mistake about it, ladies and gentlemen - the very moniker 'MoveOn.org' tells the tale. Their purpose is no less than to attack and destroy two centuries' worth of what they see as 'white, male, Anglo-Saxon hegemony' in this country. God, a 'nuclear' family, and country are the triad of their perceived 'oppressors'. And as it should be - the core of this subversive nest of subhumans is comprised of athiests, gays, and outlaw globalist nomads. Their beliefs evoke very primal, visceral negative reactions in the masses; therefore, they try to find ways to force it upon us, in any way possible. They have no morals ethics, or honor, and must be removed by any means necessary.

It also adds risk - like when the GOP discovered that one of the 1,500 proposed ads compared Bush to Adolf Hitler. Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie called it "political hate speech" and demanded that the nine Democratic presidential candidates repudiate it. Boyd quickly removed the proposed ad, but vowed not to be scared off.

Yeah. Boyd and Pariser also said the Hitler ad was very unpopular and it wasn't one of the fifteen finalists in the contest. They are lying.

There is good reason to believe that they altered their list of finalists and edited their website to obliterate the Hitler ad from the final fifteen.

They are dishonest and this should be noted.

I'll leave that to you and your fertile imagination. God knows, this country is still too politically correct for me to divulge my wildest fantasies on the subject. Somebody might be *GASP!* offended. :-)

They are loathesome, delusional and lying individuals, but their creative 30 second commercial was a winning idea, and the elected officials contact section is also good. The site, whatever else you want to say about it, is set up well for activism. No doubt they had some good "ins" with filmmaking schools as well. In addition, they produced a propaganda video for which they had a nation-wide party screening. Excellent idea as well. Rather sadly I saw pictures from my own area of people watching it...in a PUBLIC LIBRARY. Ah well, grab the good stuff, learn from it, and discard the rest. Better than put them down - LEARN, do BETTER, and WIN. There is no greater "revenge."

My rule of thumb is..... don't take any of the liberal propaganda lightly. Someone poor sap is out there listening, and buying into it.

And acknowledge when it is done well. Then do it yourself. Case in point, triangulation. I believe President Bush has been a quick study on that one ;) LOL Say what you will about the expensive health care and "immigration" proposal, the rats are beside themselves... Clintoon did the same thing.

The movie section of the Dallas Morning News yesterday had this snippet in a movie column:

David Haynes of Dallas is one of 15 finalists in the political advertising contest, "Bush in 30 Seconds," sponsored by the MoveOn.org Voter Fund which is dedicated to creating and running powerful ads in swing states to challenge the Bush administration and its policies.

The purpose of the contest is to tap into the vast pool of talen outside the Beltway, where the majority of political ads are devised, to show what Bush policies have meant to the country and what's at stake.
