Morning folks. Nice tour. I spent a couple of years spring vacationing down around Murrells Inlet. Way back before the Mrs. and myself had ankle biters running around.
Is the River City Cafe still around? It was a great peanut bar with fantastic burgers and a cool place to just unwind and let local Palmettoes laugh at us crazy Yankees. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I saw one just like this when I was driving to Atlanta last year.
I was simply amazed at how real it looked..

As a Citadel man it makes me just want to head on down to Folly Beach, kick back with some beach music and sip on a gallon jug of PJ.

Super job, dixie sass and visualops.
Mama_Bear, you get your first weekday thread in a long time and then have others do it for you. It's one lazy bear you are, lol.

One minor quibble: In your list of South Carolina universities you forgot Coastal Carolina University! GO CHANTS!

Great post on South Carolina you all!
My GreatGrandpa was from Charleston, he was a Lieutenant in the Confederate Army and made the first monument (another first) to the Confederacy out of a big piece of Italian marble in Cheraw that has around 100 unknown Confederate soldiers buried under it.
