Your perception does not adequately reflect reality. You are perceiving an America that is already gone. It can not be restored to the previous condition.

We can argue about what might have been done but that would be wasted effort. A better course is to discuss what must be done.

Recall if you will the Great Wall of China. It was built at great cost to prevent an invasion of inferior peoples similar tho that faced by America today. The Great Wall was a failure and did not accomplish the intended purpose.

The present course outlined by the President seems to recognize that the force of history and population pressure operating from our southern borders is inexorable and can't be stopped. It can however be managed.

By the President's actions, the discussion is now resolved to those things that are possible. How will America manage the horde of people invading from the South? The President has outlined a course including using and enforcing many laws already on the books but either not used or underused.

The ball is in play and the arguing about what is possible has begun. The problem will not be solved, it will be managed.

I see by your statement that you should never climb into a paper bag, you won't find ever your way out.

It would be very easy to close our borders, even easier to drastically reduce the exodus.

It will, however, not sit well with those that wish to build another "Great Wall".

Against good advise, some will sit at the ocean side, trying to stop the "tide" with their hands.

Read my entire thread and you will see my resolution to this issue. We can stop the Horde by backing up Border Patrol with the National Guard. Will it prevent ALL Illegal immigration? No. But it will severly hamper it.

Will it? how? How can you set up a program that is failed from the start and state it is managed? Our borders are not even managed. I think you are a bit naieve.

You seem to forget that the Great Wall did not fail in it's job, but that the Chinese Leaders at the time OPENED the gates and LET the invaders in.

The politicans in D.C. have actually done WORSE. They not only have left the gate wide open, but the politicans have told the invaders that they will take money from their native born citizens and PAY the invaders to come here and STAY.

This goes beyond betrayal. THIS IS NATIONAL SUICIDE!!

The politicans in D.C. have combined the three ways, three great nations in the past destroy themselves INTO ONE!!

Western Rome: who destroyed itself through politican corruption, mass regualtion, mass taxation and mass welfare until it was to weak to defend itself from invaders.

Eastern Rome: who tried too paid off their northern enemies until they bankrupted themselves and their enimies invaded anyway.

Ancient China: who's leaders opened the Gates of the Great Wall of invited their invaders to come in and then they were taken over by the invaders.

This has gone way beyond the point of no return. The politicans of BOTH political parties in D.C. are right now writing the last chapter of the histroy of the United States.

I don't what will happen after this country collapses, but I doubt it will be pretty.

First build a serious fence similar in function to Hadrian's wall it won't stop 100% of the invasion but it sure as heck slow the rate WAY down. Second start putting serious pressure on the MEXICAN GOVERNMENT to get its act together. Third start seizing assets of those folks who recruit, smuggle, hire, illegal alien laborers. Fourth get serious about reforming the INS so that they have the will & the morale to do the job required of them namely the control of this nations borders,the administration of the process of 1.immigration into this country. 2.the setting of standards for entrance into the country & the naturalization of immigrants to this country. 3. the encouragement & lawful assistance to those foriegners in this country who desire to become citizens to do so. Unconditional surrender is not the answer! A great deal of hard work & serious thought on the other hand will provide a solution.

What you are implying is that America today is powerless to control its borders and its immigration policy despite being able to do just that for more than 200 years. Interesting.

Well, we had BETTER. Any Nation that can't control immigration is a Nation on the way out. History is clear on this.

The Real Story in all this is that the money-sucking, Treasonous Beltway Elite would LIKE to have us believe that any efforts to retain a Sovereign America are futile. It is, of course, not futile at all. We are at this sorry stage in American History precisely because of these One-World Sellouts.

The solution to our immigration crisis is to remove the Traitorous Cabal of One-World Socialists from power once and for all. The rest will take care of itself. The alternative is to watch America become Balkanized out of existence. The Choice is Ours to make.
