Sounds to me like C I V I L W A R..we certainly would never think Bush would have us as slaves or throw in camps, would we? Not sounding good at all...maybe time for a move to another country. This certainly tells you what he thinks of the people..he could care less...All for his big corps so they can pay slave wages and whistle all the way to their offshore banks..oh god! The more you hear, the sicker you get..Guess this is payback for supporting him!

"Want to define an 'inferior culture'?""Inferior," as in unsophisticated in all the arts; science; language; manners; cleanliness; repressive regarding opportunity and freedom; discouraging and degrading regarding mental, physical, spiritual, and economical enrichment.
Does that clarify for you what an "inferior culture" is?
To: Regulator
Thanks
so the first amnesty added about 10 million people
who only wanted a better life but wanted to keep
their turd world mores and language.
And may have caused as many as 12 million people
to break our laws for the same reward.
Total as many as 60 million more on our door stop
and another 60 million more criminal invaders.

I think this was done mostly for Mexico. Business will continue to benefit from cheap labor, of course. Bush's proposal is the biggest boon to Vicente Fox, however. Here's why: Remittances that go back home. The remittances sent (since 1999) are running into billions (yes) and that is enough money to attract business and also build it. In a way, we are helping to build Mexico, but this won't work without a continual supply of money sent back to Mexico. The more money sent home, the better for Mexico, of course. The key is keeping the labor coming, and that is what this Bush proposal will do. Fox has a reason to be so happy.
Yes, I think everybody wins on this but plain Americans and America.
Even the rich looking for slaves will live to regret this. My hope is that Congress will knock it on its ass and instead come up with something a lot less destructive.

Not a problem at all!!
Believe it or not I have been researching immigration legal and illegal for 3 or more years. this is my so called "hot issue." Want to know how to fire me up? Mention immigration and I am off to the races. I am passionate about keeping those out who can offer nothing productive to our society, ans yes I mean those immigrants that are working in the fields that my tax dollars support as well.

"The more money sent home, the better for Mexico, of course."
NO WAY NO HOW!
Vicente Fox is pillaging his government coffers and filling his own pockets while his third world nation is running for the border. He is standing from the sidelines cheering them thru the gates. This is in NO WAY good for America it is HORRIBLE!

My hope is that Congress will knock it on its ass and instead come up with something a lot less destructive. Thats pretty optimistic. Methinks, in order to court the Hispanic vote...this will NOT happen.

What things under control ASAP? The things that disgust me or your ability to be a hypocrite. Surely you could figure out that I was talking about the border. And just how am I a hypocrite? By pointing out the obvious...that the President does not make laws, Congress does?
To: HuntsvilleTxVeteran
Pretty much right. Remember, the 44 million who eventually end up here are related to the other 60 mil or so who are left in Mexico. Therefore, they will eventually be eligible for "family reunification" - in other words, all of Mexico, effectively, will have the right to come and go as they please, vote in our elections, be counted in the census as an "oppressed minority" (even though they will be by far the largest ethnicity in the country) and therefore eligible for "affirmative action", which we and our children are not, and special Congressional districts to make sure that one of "their" people win, because "they" need representation.
All I can think of is - what did our families fight for? So that one little jerk can assert that he has the right to give it all away, so he and his buddies can get some oil money, or whatever the goddamn payoff is? FTAA passage, etc...

It's nothing but slow motion, incremental amnesty of millions.

I agree 100% and have written my representatives several times. They received their final ultimatum with the recent bidding by our traitorous President.
It's very simple for me. My fridge recently started leaking water and it damaged my hardwood floor. Would it have made sense for me to replace the floor and NOT fix the leak? How is our porous border any different? You can't effectively deal with the illegals here, by granting them special work right, citizenship, etc., until you fix the border problem.
Bush has lost my vote. I will NOT continue to pander to the fake-conservative movement. The oligarchy has too much control. We've got to SPLIT the power and get the Republicans and Democrats fighting again. That's the best way for us to prolong the evident decay and death of our society.

What you are implying is that America today is powerless to control its borders and its immigration policy despite being able to do just that for more than 200 years. Interesting.
Well, we had BETTER. Any Nation that can't control immigration is a Nation on the way out. History is clear on this.
The Real Story in all this is that the money-sucking, Treasonous Beltway Elite would LIKE to have us believe that any efforts to retain a Sovereign America are futile. It is, of course, not futile at all. We are at this sorry stage in American History precisely because of these One-World Sellouts.
The solution to our immigration crisis is to remove the Traitorous Cabal of One-World Socialists from power once and for all. The rest will take care of itself. The alternative is to watch America become Balkanized out of existence. The Choice is Ours to make.

Bush has lost my vote. I will NOT continue to pander to the fake-conservative movement. Good for you. Vote for candidates because they represent your positions, not because they can attract socialists by marketing socialism even though they brand themselves as "Republican" or "conservative."

Whoa...
Of course this a disaster for America and I do think Vicente Fox is a crook.
I don't like what I posted. I just believe it is true. I understand why Fox is ecstatic. Bush in essence is going to give him even more dollars. Remittances are Mexico's #2 source of revenue behind oil, IIRC, so it only makes sense the more Mexicans sent to America the better. FOR HIM. What I don't understand is why Bush made such a proposal.
Look, I'm not a great communicator, but I hope this is clear.

After today, I no longer have the hope that Congress will knock it down. On the contrary, I believe Bush will get most of what he wants.

Bump FYI. Let's hope Marsha will continue to stand for defense of our borders. It sounds like Frist has sold out.

Attack the messenger not the message!
Attack the messenger not the message!
I can't help it that you cannot read from fact based statistics. Furthermore you then turn to the "mexican hater card" to discredit my message. I assume you do not live in a border state. It is typical of people from non-border states to not understand what border states go through.
"How many workers retire and or die every year ya figure? How many new native born workers enter the workforce? You don't know do you."
This has NOTHING to do with the numbers I have posted. NADA, ZILCH, ZERO. These numbers are figured in.
"If things are so bad in this country how come everyone has a new and nearly new car .... often a boat .... live in a pretty nice house"
Has NOTHING to do with the BILLIONS of dollars spent on legal and illegal immigration in this country.
"You Mexican haters are so full of shit it makes me sick."
If you wish to debate substance then please post something with substance. If not then get lost. Your entire rambling quoted nothing and prooved little. Take your "personal emotion" from the equation and read a little then get back with me.
