History is King Vanity who (check our bio) went into Respirtory Distress beat the odds again.

We are still praying for Becky, neice to Pegita, for severe broncial (ventilator) distress. Please see Trussell for details.

Also Logan and NICU freinds.

Bottom Line is the Lungs and health issues.

Soooo then we with like Prayer needs had a situation.

I am tired, I am happy, so this may not be fluent but here goes. Glory Be to God as we continue prayers for all.

Hi We made it home even though it is a bad storm.

Chris was put on a wide spectrum IV for 48hrs. I was able to take care of him with supplies I brought from home untill the Hosp. in Corvallis could get his care organized and then I went with the boys/Labs to a Motel 6 down the road for a nap as it was freezing outside so I could not sleep in the van.

We, the labs and I, got snowed in at the Motel from 6:30pm last night,Mon., and so I slept untill the phone rang at 8:30am the Dr. calling saying Chris was to much to handle due to his flailing and he felt the IV meds were enough and he would send him home on another week of mutiple antibiotics.

No Pneumonia, broncitis with quite a few nasty bacteria and asthma.

He also showed a high level of "bad" liver levels but the MIR showed nothing and we will leave it at that.

So with that I bundled us up with all survival needs and headed to the coast to get him home.

Another Dr. gave me his home phone # and asked me to call him if I made it to Newport as he had patients to see on the coast the next day and our journey would well you know...Salvation.

Now I have respite coming in late due to the ice storm but after 3am I will be off duty and sleeping to restore my body. : )

Unbelievable good things happen even in the most adverse conditions.

If I am not to tired and over excited I would like to open this thread up, even though it will be kicked to chat,
to a care providers and prayer place for Respiratory inflictions.

I wanted to share before I crash again into "rest".

I have not for one second forgot about Becky and have not checked since back home how things are going so I will go now to that thread.

In my times of trial I just kept lifting up Becky as a forerunner to this awful season of lung complications we have all shared.

I've been praying for your situation quite often especially when my son called me from Cortez in the wee hours of the night both on his way to our house and on his way home. Heavenly Father, we return to give You thanks for the fierce dedication of this devoted Mom to her beloved King Vanity. Thank You, Gracious God, for shepherding them safely back home through that horrendous storm. Abundantly bless them both, in the Name of Jesus, I pray.

We praise You, O God, for OP's wisdom and knowledge that she has gained and for her willingness to share with others. Bring to this thread others who experience respiratory distress or who have like concerns, that we may fellowship and share and be encouraged in our circumstances. We uplift all those who are struggling to breathe ... King Vanity and Becky and others known to You ... open their lungs and ease their anxiety ... give wisdom in treatment unto the day of restoration.

Well the son of a gun sick as he was wasted no time entertaining OMG he down right embarressed me with his eye brow flauntings.

I had pity for those well trained female nurses.

King Vanity has so much to offer but he does let his "reflection" get in the way. God Love Him. LOL

Thankful for the good news, and keeping you and Chris in prayer for improvement in those areas of particular concern where the news was not as good.

You have a goodlookin' little family there, OP. The love and dedication is obvious, and the sense of humor, and personality are inspiring in the face of the challenges for you and Chris. God bless you both...hope you can get that thread started for those with similar respiratory difficulties.
