There is some additional news. The 'Rats and their auxillary groups are going to the U.S. Supreme Court seeking an injunction to stop the rediscticting. They HAVE to do so! If this stands they will NEVER, at least not in my life time, recover from it!

But the Part needs to look for more Mexican candidates. Unlike blacks, Mexicans will respond to any party that serves their interests.

It's beyond discouraging. It's more like "political hell".
To: MeeknMing
This all makes for "great entertainment" during the next elections.
Stay tuned.../sarcasm
Sorry, but to me today's politics is nothing more than that anymore...great entertainment. (and many times it isn't "great" at all and is merely entertainment)
Like a sitcom that should've been canceled years ago but somebody went nostalgic and just couldn't cancel the show.

Durn shame about poor ole Chet. It'll be great to have Fort Hood represented by a conservative.

I'll add a BUMP for that good news!!

This is the best news since the capture of Saddam.

The United States can no longer afford a majority DemocRAT party and its destruction is a crucial issue of National Security since its capture by the Left has cast it into an even more anti-American role than normal.
Bush understands where our nation's most dangerous enemies lie and intends to do something about it. Drag 'em out of their holes, George.
Any word on if this was 3-0 or 2-1?

Good job Gov Perry and Mr Cornyn. I understand Kay Bailey Hutchison was against this redistricting. Do you know why? Thanks for your help.

DPS investigated the theft as a class B misdemeanor, punishable by up to a $2,000 fine and 180 days in jail. If the pilfered goods were transported from Texas to Washington, D.C., the crime would be a federal offense. Looks like Frost escapes the law but ousting him would be a penalty he richly deserves. I hadn't heard about that little caper in so long, I had forgotten it. So they never prosecuted the aide or Frost ? Not surprising. The little worm is toast, hopefully, but he really SHOULD face the consequences. Both him and the aide, imho ...
PS: Looks like the little theft and the media's help to try to smear the GOP with that had little bottom line effect, eh ?? haha ! Rot in Hades, you scumbag Frost !!

You read it all. 127 pages, wow !In any case, the judge would have then gone overboard an ordered the old lines kept for the election (yikes!) rather than draw new lines and enjoined the lege to try again! that's killing a fly with a sledgehammer. Good thing it was 2-1 for the State!!
Amazing. I guess he thought the 'RAT gerrymandered map was great.
There must be a better way to do this redistricting that would be 'above board and fair', but I don't think the 'RATS would go for that. They want whatever gives them an edge (like filibustering GOP judge pics in the Senate). What they DON'T like is that they are losing power, and that is what it's all about with them. To he** with fair !! We want power! That's their thinking. The farthest left and the most of them, anyway.

I hadn't heard about that little (redristicting maps theft) caper in so long, I had forgotten it. Precisely why I posted it. Scumbags like this creep will continue to commit crimes.
They depend on faulty memories to escape prosecution. Remember, FRepers never forget.
