Its the start of a New Year, and with that Id like to give you all my New Years Resolutions with respect to Free Republic. Are there any New Years Resolutions youd like to make for the benefit of FR? Some examples that come to mind are, fewer personal attacks. Debate the message, dont personally attack the poster. Maybe your resolution will be to post fewer vanities, or to post vanities to chat. Another resolution might be to search prior to posting threads. Whatever you might strive to do for Free Republic, let us know. Maybe youd like to make amends with a certain poster. Give it a shot.
My personal New Year's Resolution to Free Republic:
Id like to be better at answering your questions via mail and pings. We do get busy, and sometimes your questions get lost in the sheer volume. So, Ill resolve to try better to answer your inquiries. If you dont get an answer in a day or two, please ask again.
Happy New Year, Free Republic! Its going to be a fun year!

Now what fun would that be?
To: Dog; Howlin
And I resolve to typing better *namely, better quoting* on the live threads, and to help Dog and Howlin when they are on there also.

Happy New Year! Shall we, once and for all, resolve this new year to ignore all pings and posts from the icon fellow?

Happy New Year to all the mods, and John and Jim.
May the end of the next year see us a nation at peace
with the world.
But if it is to be war, then let us war as only we can!
Let us instill fear in the hearts of our enemies,
and courage in the hearts of our allies.

You do better than I do! Heck, my ear has been stopped up since August (no, I am NOT going deaf!), and I can barely hear a thing across the room!

Happy New Year! Could we have a button to delete our own posts after 72 people point out that we've said something Really Stupid? Amen to that one! I did that very thing just last night in fact! Wish I could have zotted myself! :-)
