if you have a good scanner in So Cal, tune to 271.0, set it in AM mode and listen to Norad intercept Air France flight 68, due at LAX 515pm
two F16s from AZ current refueling off Pacific

I really enjoyed watching all the AF jets fly over my house as a kid in the "60's when the base was still operating, especially the B-52's. My parents had a beach cottage in Destin in the mid 60s, and I remember swimming in the Gulf and watching B52s, B58s and several types of fighters flying over (low) every day (Eglin AFB)! I loved it!
Great thread! Needs to go in the thread hall of fame!

CPU: Zilog Z80A, 3.25MHzDamn! I always wanted one of those so bad. The Tandy CoCo ran at a sizzling .89 MHz (sizzling in the figurative AND literal sense), and could be 'overclocked' believe it or not to 1.78 MHz. Wild stuff.
