NO, please don't pull it yet. I've been waiting 21 minutes and can see about 20 pixels, I'm almost there. LOLI was going to post the size in my complaint above, but my DSL has still EVER to load it, so I had to guess.

Good grief. Some of us see "intercepted" and think "shot down." It shouldn't take reading so many posts to figure out that this hasn't happened.

Hmmmmm interesting indeed! Any further details? .........or was it "FCFFE" Flight crew fat finger error eg those Collins RTU's you go to switch freqs and doesnt 7700 show up in the squawk....dammedest thing I ever saw ;) True story , a Priv GlobalExpress dun got intercepted by the canadians forced to land in Winnepeg ehh;) all courtesy of FCFFE. Now imagine explaining that one to the old man in the back heheheheheh

use incoming foreign planes?
No on-board fuel left!"
not necessarily; what a long-range passenger aircraft considers running on fumes still has a heck of a lot of jet fuel on it, if you think in terms of 1-gallon gascans. A pint in a 1 gallon can is capable of leveling your house. Set it on fire and spray it over your neighborhood and you'll fire a bunch of houses.

'Escorted' would be a better word. When the shuttle (jeeze, I forgot the name) came in for its landing, a very similar thread was started. FR scooped every media source that sad day.

Wasn't the hard drive capacity on those original Tandy 2000's something like 100 MB

I agree, I have a cble modem and that pic must be on a "Tandy 2000" Server Hey...it must be a Tandy 2000 LX, as the EX model only came with a built-in 5 and 1/4 floppy. Good times. Wonder if its a monochrome display?

To: Delta 21
LOL, There's that beast, who would have ever guessed we would have gone from that Tandy 2000 to tracking jetliners around the globe at warp speed :-)

100MB? No way...those came in around 1990 I think. I'd say lop a zero off that number - 10MB.
