Pixar did the production, including story development. Disney just distributed it. Clownfish all look the same. BTW, no little fin on the one in the book.

Looks an awful lot like Nemo to me. Would be really nice to see Disney lose all the money from Nemo, and have to pay one heck of a fine on top of that. Disney's demise(restructuring) is near hopefully.

I doubt this case will go anywhere unless "Pierrot's" adventures are terrifically similar to those of Nemo, his father Marlin, Dory, et al. in the Disney/Pixar film.

One cartoon depiction of a clown fish looks like another.

WOW! A total Ripoff! Sharky the Attorney goes...Cha-Ching!
To: Shermy
It does sound, excuse me, quite fishy. Disney has a recent history of ripping people off (spitting on the same IP rights it so tightly guards for itself), so I wouldn't reject this out of hand.

Pierrot doesnt have a "lucky" fin...

the film was finished by the time Le Calvez's first book came out "Finding Nemo" thus legally predates Pierrot, Le Poisson Clown. Game over, Disney/Pixar wins.
