There is no correlation bewteen which posts are removed based upon contributions. You can pretend to think otherwise, but it's a wrong assumption. There is no way we could determine who said what and decide to remove a comment based upon donations. Your theory is frankly insulting to Jim and Free Republic.

Ah, yes, pre-law. Can you recommend a good personal injury attorney? I just involuntarily aspirated a big slug of Baileys Irish Cream in a fit of laughter, and somebody's going to pay.
To: ladyinred
LOL. He's good at it too.

What does the place look like where you are? Do you get coffee and doughnuts?

As I stated before, this is your website and your rules. This is a business and I respect that. I just understand I won't be treated on the same level as someone else.

The ones in South Carolina & Georgia have been closed. I thought that was stupid, especially since there was a thread earlier this week saying that one of the possible threats involved trucks in North or South Carolina.

the way I undertand it, that thread is in the 'old' format. Some time isn late 2001 JohnRob revised the software. That change altered the ability to post to older threads.

Good answer. I warn my students that occasionally "I'm not in the mood to be messed with today". It usually does the trick as long as I only say it a couple of times a year.
It's been a busy week. Hope that you and yours had a great Christmas.
To: Torie
I suspect there was one poster on the Balkan threads, that hit the abuse button for awhile, every time I posted there. But for whatever reason, if so, it didn't work, since even on those threads, I don't think I had one post pulled.
I keep hearing good stuff about those Balkan threads. Civil War, too. I'll have to check them out, I don't get enough excitement. Not bad for a guy who admitted he once supported McCain and Governor Davis, now is it?
Confession time: I voted for Ted Kennedy in the 1980 primary. I didn't have any party affiliation, back then, so I registed Dem to vote against Carter. I was ticked at the way he'd botched the Iran hostage crisis, and Kennedy was the only pol at the time who would say so publicly.

Are you as scary as some say?
But seriously,
Would it be possible to have a link to "browse" the latest posts from the "my comments" page?
To: Shooter 2.5
I just understand I won't be treated on the same level as someone else. You should be used to that by now, with that attitude.
