I’ve been thinking about everything I’ve learned on FR. Now I know the meaning of:

3.I know what Prayer Warriors do
4.I know that Canada is a place where we store our extra trees
5.I know How Many Freepers it takes to change a light bulb
6.I know a vanity when I see one ;)

What did you learn on FR that you needed to know in life?

3. What DU is. (Unfortunately).
4. That every Ann Coulter thread must have every picture of her ever taken posted on that thread.

6. You better learn to use HTML or get flamed.
7. What BARF ALERTS are.
8. That the most used words/phrases on FR are moose, cheese, go take a shower cause, and this could be hugh and series.
9. What BTT means.
10. That taglines are often the best part of the post.
11. That grammar and spell DO count.

I learned that even though I was a real newbie,whose typing skills were frozen in rust ,I could be accepted and feel like a part of history here on FR.

I learned there are many Vets here to say Thank You to on FR.

I have also learned that I have a dozen+ people on speed dial that want me to call them first if I breakdown at 3:00am, 100 miles from home so that they can make fun of me before anyone else gets a chance!!!

I've learned that FReeping isn't just a job...it's an adventure! And it is also necessary to be a FReeper if you want to stay away from Newspapers and do not watch TV. I also learned that Talk Show Jockeys aren't as smart as we thought they were...most of them get their ideas from real smart FReepers. Some admit it, some don't. Kudos to you lurking talk show hosts who have the guts to admit that you get ideas from Free Republic, especially Rush and Howie Carr.

I learned Iraq has it's own version of This Old House and Achmed.....was a busy man on that roof during Operation Iraqi Freedom

Good ol' Achmed and the Baghdad-cam. After looking at that damned statue of Hussein day after day and hour after hour, it was so nice to see that sucker yanked down.

I hope Achmed is doing alright these days.

I forgot to mention tv: I rarely watch it anymore -- 90 percent of it is a wasteland of liberal loquaciousness.

So I actually paid $0.50 (!) for the Times because it was they day after the terror alert was raised, and I wanted to catch some of the local news about it. What a waste of $0.50.

Just don't let it happen again. ;>)

The other day I was FReeping and listening to Rush and I realized that I had already read everything he was talking about, right here on FR.

Freeping and listening to Rush simultaneously increases mental agility, don'tcha think? Sometimes when Rush on a roll is competing with a hot topic on FR, I bookmark the FR article to be sure I don't lose its content.
