Bush to Propose Broad Amnesty Tell Congress to Say No! We regret having to interrupt your holiday season with bad news on the immigration reform front, but the Washington Post reports this morning that President Bush and Karl Rove-in order to appeal to Hispanic voters-are poised to announce a sweeping amnesty plan during the second week of January. If you like amnesty, mass legal immigration, and the continued unprecedented decline in the American economic standard of living, you'll love President Bush's proposal.

While the details of the plan remain unclear, President Bush is expected to propose an outline modeled after legislation currently pending in the House and Senate, H.R.2899 and S.1461. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) and Representatives James Kolbe (R-AZ) and Jeff Flake (R-AZ) introduced these bills. This upcoming plan will undoubtedly reflect what President Bush meant when he announced last week at a press conference that he wants to match "any willing worker with any willing employer."

Why Your Help is Needed Now

President Bush and Karl Rove are convinced that this plan will appeal to Hispanic voters without offending his Republican base. In order for Bush to make his immigration proposal a reality, however, he will need to convince the leadership of the House of Representatives to press his plans on their Republican House colleagues who know better.

Here's How You Can Help:

First, send a free faxed message from our web site to President Bush, House Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-IL) and House Majority Leader Tom DeLay.

Follow up your faxes with phone calls. Call the White House comment line at 202-456-1111 and leave a brief message telling the president no to his amnesty plan. Call the Speaker's office at 202-225-0600 and the Leader's office at 202-225-4000 and leave a brief message. Tell Speaker Hastert and Leader DeLay that Republicans should not abandon their law and order principles by advancing the open borders policies preferred by Democrats.

Your faxes and phone calls will be needed continuously over the course of at least the next three weeks. Please ask your friends, family, and coworkers to follow your lead in making their voices heard as well.

Talking Points:

Giving illegal aliens legal status does nothing to improve our national security. In fact it would take years and years to do background checks on the estimated 9-11 million illegal aliens who could be eligible for amnesty. An illegal alien who was amnestied in 1986, after all, later masterminded the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993.

Any guestworker program leading to legal status for illegal aliens is an amnesty and threatens homeland security by encouraging more illegal immigration. Every time an elected official talks about the possibility of granting amnesty to illegal aliens, it says to would-be illegal aliens that they had better get into the United States while the getting is good.

This program would reward people who have cheated the system with permanent residence. This country is based on the rule of law-it should not be manipulated by people who have cheated their way to the front of the line.

The current recovery from economic recession is unique in post World War II recoveries in that it comes without any benefit for American workers-just more offshore job outsourcing, low paying jobs, and an accompanying decline in the nation's standard of living. This new guestworker program may match any willing employer with any willing worker, but for American workers this means being displaced by cheap foreign labor and declining wages and working conditions for those fortunate enough to find or keep a job.

It's certainly the FCC and Congress's responsibility to set the rules for the airwaves. Corporations are going to do what makes them a buck and what they can get away with. "Public interest" isn't their concern.

One of the best voices of Conservatism is Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh has always spoke of the need for more immigration.

But sometimes we know he's high. Also I don't think he lives where the problems are occurring and doesn't see everything that is going on.

The government has to give you permission to sue them. Did you know that?

Apparently you think so.

Actually as I have mentioned numerous time before it is Republican CA State representative Ray Haynes who says Lungren supported Prop187. You still keep walking into that one don't you? It makes you look kind of stoopid everytime you respond without reading the last post.

I sure did. You have to give them a chance to defend themselves first. That means you file a claim against the government within 2 years of the occurrence. They may dismiss of the claim but once you file the claim form, you are not barred from filing suit against them. This becomes the precursor to filing the lawsuit in federal court.

You can sue judges, the president of the United States, DOJ, IRS, and just about anybody if you do it right! It has been done before.

Finally, it is one's First Amendment Right to address their grievances against the federal government. One's Right supercedes the government giving one permission to sue when the individual suing has filed the proper and timely paperwork.

Lundgren didn't support 187. He simply was Pete Wilson's attorney general. Blame it on Ray Haynes for misleading you. Maybe the problem is that you are incapable of learning- some philosophers call that "invincible ignorance". In that case it's really not your fault.

Philosophers? LOL...as if you could even read Mad magazine. How cute.

Here I am feeling a little guilty about helping you make yourself look like such a colossal boob and you still insist on coming back for more. Some might think that was bravery but I believe you have crossed the "fine line" at least 2 dozen times now. It is clear that we're not communicating with each other. I can't understand gibberish and you have many problems that prevent you from understanding a great many things. We could sit here and hurl insults at each other for several more days but I have no desire to play with you anymore. If you feel you must respond again because your intelligence, for lack of a better word, has been insulted feel free but I'm moving on to debating partners who can at least admit they are wrong when the truth has been smacked across their face after only 2 or 3 times.

I like Rush --- I don't hold it against him he had a drug problem and I wish him luck getting control over it. But he may say we need even more massive immigration --- but he's never explained why or with NAFTA, free trade and massive job loss what all the millions or billions of poor uneducated people coming over the border are going to do for work and who is going to have to support them. As it is now 40% of the hispanic immigrants are landing up on welfare programs. We already had a large welfare class --- so why bring in millions more to get on it?

Well, I wish I could start it but I can't cause I'm not a member of the bar. One can represent themselves in court but not representing others without a bar license. (I truly have a hard time believing this one too when the entire bar association is extremely corrupt.) But, if we find an attorney that has the integrity to take on this big issue, it would really straighten out this mess. This is an extremely big issue and concerns the public interest at large but most attorneys won't touch this for fear of losing their bar license.

I sent off an email to Glenn Spencer bringing up the idea of this suit and also Terry Anderson. Terry thought the idea was a great one and wanted to know where we could start.

No, the ACLU, founded by a communist, supports a lot of the Leftist agenda. The open borders policy implemented by www.cfr.org, is so Leftist that it is straight out of the Communist Manifesto.

Congress won't do anything, except a brave conservative minority.

The Dems want it because they are in bed with illegals. The GOP wants it because they are too weak to stand up to Bush. And Bush wants it because he is in no way conservative and apparently doesn't recognize the existence of the US Constitution.

Thanks GW. Guess I better start learning Espanol!

Sorry are you talking about America? It is true that since the recession about 3 million jobs have been lost, but the economy is getting better and jobs will return. It has been an extremely mild recession with unemployment barely rising above 6%. As far as NAFTA being the cause of today's woes I might point out that since NAFTA was signed U.S. employment grew over 20 million between 1993 and 2000. but that would be a waste of time to point this out since I see you have already posted to http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1028661/posts .

Yet you continue to spout distortions and unsupportable tripe. What would be the point in responding to your questions when I can see you have already ignored the answers before.

40% of hispanic immigrants are landing up on welfare programs? Bull Squat. America needs more workers. We are now below 6% unemployment and the economy is ripping and businesses are hiring. Businesses can hire an uneducated mexican worker who dreams of a job and an American public high school educated worker who can't read or write and feels he is owed a job. At least the Mexican was willing to work to get over the border and fight for the job. We've danced around the welfare issue before Fitz. I contend that illegal immigrants make up a very tiny fraction of the Federal and State dole, but they make an attractive scapegoat for "the losers of life's lottery," who are sucking up unemployment, WIC, food stamps, student loans and grants, and disability all while racking up huge credit card debt and declaring bankruptcy. Illegal immigrants don't get on these programs because the fear getting caught and being sent back to Mexico.

I doubt you've been to a welfare office any time lately along the border --- or one of the county hospitals. Yes they do come for the welfare, and the free health care and the free schools. Maybe in your part of the country, they come to work only.

"Businesses can hire an uneducated mexican worker who dreams of a job and an American public high school educated worker who can't read or write and feels he is owed a job."

Where does it say in the California Constitution that we OWE illegal aliens jobs? It has always been my understanding that hiring illegals is against the law. Look what happened to Walmart recently where the feds raided it because of a tip that the manager was hiring illegals. If Walmart can be busted, then we can also bust up other companies that are practicing illegal hiring that not only violates the laws of this State but discriminates against legal citizens applying for those same jobs.

We need to go after the managers and owners of companies that are hiring illegals. Like Tyson Foods.

The reason why this state is going bankrupt, is because the illegals have sucked this state dry of funds so bad that it has forced some hospitals to shut down and court to raise their fee just to stay in business.

The Fourteenth Amendment does not apply to illegal aliens. This also applies to them stealing food stamps under an alias name, and selling them on the street for cocaine, as I was tipped off by a Mexican national years ago. This person told me exactly what these illegals do to get into this country. I was told they pay as much as $1,000 to get a fake id to get into this country. When they get here, they immediately go to the SS office and get financial assistance including food stamps. This also includes getting assistance from HUD to get Section 8 housing in nice neighborhoods. As a result of the Section 8, the community starts to fall apart because the illegals kids turn into gang punks that go around shooting up nice neighborhoods and vandalizing from the hardworking American who worked their ass off for 40 years to keep a job.

The giving away of financial assistance, food stamps, housing and jobs is a BIG slap in the face to all Americans and to those who came here LEGALLY.

We Americans aren't paying for this crap anymore. We not paying income tax when we are being discriminated from jobs given to illegals. And yes, it is discrimination BIG TIME against Americans.
