Mo1's mother has passed away From kayak | 12/23/2003 11:10:05 PM PST replied

Mo1 lost her mother Tuesday afternoon. She had had the flu and it went into pneumonia.

She posted the message in #183 on this thread:

I had the pneumonia a couple years back, so I know how he feels .. tell him to take good care of himself and get plenty of rest.

The thermal metamorphism of the coal at this stage has begun to make the molecules unburnable, so while the carbon content is the highest of the coals, the BTU content may be slightly lower than the best bituminous coal.

Your mother was an astonishing woman. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Yes she was, she was a real pain in my butt when I was a teenager and was always on me to do better .. I'm very lucky and thankful she was, if she wasn't there, who know what trouble I could have gotten into.
