Hi troops! My name is Jimmy. I am five years old. Mom is typing this for me, so any spelling mistakes are hers, not mine.

I think I am going to get a turtle and two new front teeth for Christmas. Mom says I have you to thank for that...Mom says we are free to have Christmas because of people like ,you who are fighting the bad guys that want to ruin America.

I wish I could help you.. bad guys always run from me. Mom says you are brave... I am brave too, but sometimes I am afraid of the dark.

I hope you are not afraid. Mom says that we may not meet one of you ,ever, but if I ever met you I hope you would be proud of me...I know that you have to brave to be an American Soldier.

Next year I hope you are home with your family, and I hope Santa brings you a turtle.. because everyone needs a pet.

I love you... and I will never forget what you have done for me and for America.

Besides Mom and Dad keep telling me over and over, and we have all of these yellow ribbons up..Mom says they stay up until the last one of you come home.

That is okay with me.. because it helps me know we are safe.

Hi Jimmy!!!

You know if you get that turtle that you have to be careful of salmonella, right?

Germs are pesky things, but you'll be fine if you remember that each time you handle the turtle, you need scrub and wash your hands. (AND, each time you scrub and wash your hands, you need to keep scrubbing and washing them as long as it takes you to sing "Happy Birthday.") ;)

Love,
Auntie Fawnn
