My guess is that it is an american (not british) educated person due to his use of slang. He has great fun writing these jokes. I do not think that this is real.

I would wager that VERY serious warnings have been issued to islamic sources, that any major damage inflicted upon the US or allies, WILL be met by reprisals VERY MANYFOLD.

I for one, would support warning of potential devastation of Cairo, Damascus, Riyahd, etc.

Anything muslims could unleash would be slight, compared to what we have the power to inflict.

It would start a massive world war. We would win.

While I was reading this article, it occurred to me that the Radical Isalmists need to act BEFORE we succeed in turning power back to the Iraqi's.

Currently, it is widely accepted in the Arab states that the U.S. is the aggressor in Iraq and is there only for the oil. Saddam is still quite popular outside of Iraq. If the trials are held, then Saddam's atrocities toward Arab peoples will be in the news. This is bad for the Islamists.

Further, if we turn power back to the Iraqi's, which is currently scheduled for July 2004, then the Islamists lose.

Both of these events may tend to soften the Arab opinion of the U.S.

Instead, before these events are allowed to transpire, the Islamists must assault the U.S. directly. Now, it would be met with approval throughout the Arab world. This approval will be shown to the American people and further polarize the situation. The moderate Arab leadership [there are those who understand that they will lose power if Islamic states replace them] will be hard pressed to condemn such attacks, thus forcing a wedge between these moderate leaders and Arab public opinion.

Based on this, I predict that there will be a major terrorist attack on the U.S. before Saddam's trial can be held. It will probably be timed just prior to the trial so that the news media will be focused on our agony and response rather than the atrocities of Saddam. Thus, two purposes will be served.
