http://www.cnn.com/2003/US/12/22/threat.level/index.html A government official said numerous people have been blocked from entering the country at various locations since December 1 but would not give specifics.
Another U.S. official said a handful of foreign flight crew members had been stopped in recent days.
The United States is working with airlines and foreign governments to improve their security postures, officials said.
There is concern about Mexico and Canada because of their contiguous airspace with the United States.

Yeah but to who? Who would we go after?I can think of several countries.
I believe the next step would clearly be in the hands of John Q Public. Period.
I agree with that though, I already mentioned CODE RED DAWN.

Roger Cressey, a former senior Bush administration counter-terrorism official, said the current intercepts have officials so concerned because they so closely mirror the conversations picked up before the Sept. 11 attacks.
Uhhmm....so they DID know?

Lebanon and Syria and Iran.
Hezbollah is based in Lebanon and their leader had his fingers in 911 - and Hezbollah is controlled by Iran and Syria.
They were all behind 911, we made a mistake in not using Nukes immediately after we figured out AQ was behind 911 - we should have polished off Iran and Syria before.

Is it me or is there a feeling going around that is almost like us saying "Go ahead...give us a reason to kick your asses out of here"? I think that every time Bush says "religion of peace" he is basically saying "Prove to me it isn't." I do think that a new attack will mean we can stop holding back, and stop sending our troops from cave to cave.
A new attack also means that the generations living now will NEVER feel 100% safe again. That one time can be written off like a once-in-a-century occurrence. The only way to keep attack #3 from happening would need to be nuclear retaliation.

Even if you could prove that, where do you attack? What neighborhood address is Hezbolah
The killing of collateral innocents is not as accepted these days as it was 60 years ago. We can't slaughter 500 to kill 20 or 30. As Israel has learned, world opinion matters.
Thanks to the globalists and free traders,1/3 of our economy is dependent on foreigner's buying American products. World opinion matters. This is the dilemma of terrorism in the global era. Bush will see, the decision may not be cut& dry.
I'd like to think your're right but I don't know.

"kill innocent Arabs "
this is the whole problem
those people don't care about human beings...not their wives, not their children, not their elderly, not anybody....
these men are crazy ...
how else do you describe men who would throw acid in the faces of their dtrs or push them off buildings .....
we Christian Americans, we care about life and about others.....maybe that will be our earthly downfall...( please don't remind me about our "heavenly reward" because I am ultimately a chicken and I don't want to suffer and die at the hands of the fanatical Muslims no matter what....I will fight)

It'd be just like those sneaky SOB's. Get us watching the airports, meanwhile they're plowing up the Capitol Building.
Would that be all that bad?

Code red is martial law. That's what we go to when multiple WND attacks take place. It means total lock-down, nobody moves anywhere.
To: TurtleTrap
no, the intercepts were analyzed after the fact, knowing what occurred. when you hear an intercept of a conversation with phrases like "it's on", or "they are in the air now", those only have meaning in the context of what happened, its not enough to predict the event in advance.
To: TurtleTrap
They did not know what they knew before 9/11--only in hindsight examining all the intel.
I think we have the same problem now--lots of info but nothing specific ENOUGH to devote ENOUGH resources to SPECIFIC TARGETS in SPECIFIC ways ENOUGH to SPECIFICALLY DETER SPECIFIC actions in SPECIFIC places and directions.
I suppose some bright fellow could have said--well, we have to put planes in the air around all critical targets. And some bean counter would have said we can't afford it and the evidence is not clear enough to take such drastic action.
NOW the bean counter might be shushed up. PRIOR to 9/11, it was a lot less likely that a nay-sayer would have been ignored in the interest of specific costly preventive measures.
IMHO.

"What neighborhood address is Hezbolah"
LEBANON.
If we get hit again we take these three countries out with nukes completely - I know you will say "If 911 didn't make us use the H-Bomb then a second attack won't".
But the thing is we have better intelligence about how Iran and Syria and Hezbollah are in bed with eachother that we didn't have right after 911.
If we are hit again I'll bet you we use the H-Bomb - I can't guarantee it will happen, but we know so much more about Iran and Al Qaeda know that I'll bet we just take them all out if there is a second attack.

"I really am not feeling a bio-attack like anthrax or anything like that. I am of the opinion it will be another stunning shocker to watch on live TV again."
If this happens they will be in for the real shock. I am sure Syria, Saudi, Iran, and the quieter ones have all been put on notice of what will happen in their countries if something like this happens during the holidays.
Our REVENGE will be swift and our fury will be felt more seriously than they ever suspected. I hope we reminded all of them about the sleeping giant quote Yamamoto (sp?)had just after the Japanese launched the Pearl Harbor attacks.
They really do not want to pi$$ us off this time of the year. The whole country will DEMAND that someone pay big.

Certainy the Bekka valley needs glassified. Perhaps Damascas. Perhaps portions of Teheran and the border of Pakistan and Afghanistan.
And if N Korea hicups or breathes too rapidly--their capital and military bases, too.

And, I'd think doing great damage to parts of Yemen would be highly in order, too.
We might also deal with Cuba and Venezuela at the same time if it wouldn't take too many troops.
