Any massive attack by muslim aliens should be grounds for impeachment of G. Bush. There shouldn't be any islamic foreigners here after 9-11.

Of course I realize that most of Congress thinks in the same PC way regarding muslim immigration as W, so it would be pretty hard to find any congresscritters with hands clean enough to impeach anybody.

That would be bad. But like some writers and Rush Limbaugh point out. Can you imagine the reaction? Can you imagine what the US might decide to do in response?

Nothing short of nuclear assault on the capitals of Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iran, Syria and the holiest Islamic sites would suffice for me. But I may be a little heavy-handed. Let Israel do what they want to the Palestinian territories, CLOSE THE BORDERS, aggressively remove all illegals, end the immigration act of 1965, and all student visas, shutdown the ACLU, damn the media, screw the UN, EU, China, Russia, and start the American Experiment over again (post 15th Amendment). If the people have to buy weapons and fufill the domestic part of my plan, that's even better. We'd do it cheaper and more efficiently.

But realistically, we'd have another week of 24/7 media coverage, (This time it will be of the "blame Bush" variety) Dan Rather on Letterman having a sobbing fit, more united way "diversity" commericals, and let's not forget: Extra helpings of "Islam is a peaceful religion" and "be prepared" BS.

I know where you are going with this. But at this point in the game I really don't know if I want to change QB's. There is a part of me that just wants Congress and W to come together and shut the borders down until we clean up our own backyard and front yard. The other part of me realizes that completely let's a bunch of terrorist scumbags win and control us with fear.

I believe we need to be spending half of the money on border security here in the U.S. that we are overseas. Pull us out of nations that we are not doing anything in and wasting tax payers dollars on. Do a massive recruitment for the military..sign up another 250-300,000 troops for our defenses and build up a bigger military alliance with Canada and Mexico to solve the issues for the borders.

Canada's military is all overseas. I believe they have a very minimal homefront military and that means if and when Toronto is attacked..we will be cleaning up there anyway.


Something has to give...unfortunately 9-11 was not enough. The next one probably will be...when it happens to them. Also, I want to go on record and say I firmly believe the next grand attack won't even happen here...but in the UK.

I still think they should have attacked in early December if they wanted to sucker punch the economy to maximum effect, now seems late, although more symbolic around the Holy Days.

WE've gotten the SAME warnings, not to mention the uptick in the color code, last 4th of July, last Christmas, and other times as well. The same kinds of posts, as these, have been written, over and over again, since 9/11.

It isn't only our northern & southern borders... people are smuggled in, all the time, aboard ships. We have FOUR borders, most of which are IMPOSSIBLE to close/keep an eye on 100% of the time. Then, there are the homegrown " cells ", such as the one in upstate N.Y. ( Lakawana ), so that border patrols are ultimately USELESS, when thinking about keeping us safe from every terrorist nutter.

Still and all, we should and must not let our guard down.

DC Mayor Anthony Williams also canceled his Christmas travel plans, "just in case something happens." However, he has a history of always being out of the country when bad things happen.

Somebody at the DOJ must have told him not to leave town.

I won't buy this gov't warning unless Diane Sawyer (ABC News) cancels her travel plans.

As we have seen in the past (OK City, FL800, the Cali fires, etc.) out gov't won't admit to terrorism unless they absolutely have to.

Obliterating training camps is Clinton's idea of success. Problem is, you don't accomplish much by doing so except spend an enormous amount of money smashing some mud huts and waste a pickup truck or two, while the terrorists, meanwhile, have moved on to some other anarchic regions of the world. Taking such camps physically, however, enables them to be scoured for docs leading to jihadi recruits and instructors- but this is best done without turing the camp into a glass parking lot.

Obliterating actual terrorists is much more effective than wasting adobe... such as when te US predator drone aced some al Qaeda brass in Yemen. Gather info by being nice to the locals, then use said info to track the terrorists to their masters, and send them to their maker with a flourish.
