I read on another thread that Rumsfeld was called back from his Christmas vacation in NM...This is not good. Most likely when the threat level is raised to Orange senior government officials are required to return to their work. This is almost certainly a predefined set of actions rather than a specific response to this threat.

What's "not good" about bringing these guys home where they can confer? I'd want all my top advisers where they belong.
