"SO, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO TODAY?"

Imagine waking up on the first day of your Caribbean cruise vacation aboard a stunning ship. You step out onto your balcony and take in the blue sky, the balmy air and the shimmering waters. You feel a rush of excitement as you think about the day ahead. Because you're free to fill it with all the adventures you want.

You'll have an amazing "to-do" list to pick from. Luau on fabulously beautiful Half Moon Cay?.....a horse-and-carriage ride through the streets of veddy, veddy British Nassau?.....picking up whute coral under your feet in the warm waters of a white-sand Tortola beach?......ride an aerial tram from sea level to 700 feet above Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas for one of the most breathtaking views you'll see in your lifetime?

Your choices for the day - Paradise, Paradise or Paradise - what'll it be?

Registering now for our freeper cruise is the first and best choice you can make for your vacation this year. Phone our lovely mermaid, Wanda, right away so you can join the gang on the Zuiderdam's FReeper Row!

Attention registered cruisers: I need a minimum of two volunteers to take daily photos on the cruise. Also, to know how to post them on an after-cruise thread our Cruise Webmaster, Doughty One, will start when we return.

If you're a camera artiste with an eye for fabulous shots that shore-bound freepers will view with consumate vicariousness and total lime-green envy, please sign on here. Thanks,

Leni

What's amazing is that here we are, only 4 weeks away from the FReepers Excellent Adventure, and the prices we have for our group are still less than what I'm finding online from the cruise discounters. Don't miss this chance, tell your boss you feel an illness coming on, and it's gonna take you a week to 'fully recover'. Make your reservations now, don't miss it. We're gonna have a blast, and you'll be sorry when you see our pictures if you're not in them....

Thanks for posting the great pix, Doughty.

The Zuiderdam Casino (pictured above) is stunning. It's extremely well-ventilated and looks more elegant than those in the James Bond movies!

Here you'll find poker and blackjack tables, banks of slots, a dice board, and a lucky roulette wheel that may have your name on it. In my experience cruising I've found that HA slots are more user-friendly than those of other cruise lines.

Directly across the hall from the casino is the 70-seat piano bar where the pianist will play "Misty" for you. The music can be heard in the casino and you can sing along as you empty your slot machine over and over again, yeah!

The second photo shows the Vista dining room where our group will enjoy dinner each night. We'll all be seated together on the upper level. Musicians will serenade us with soft dinner music. This pic shows one of two gorgeous dining room staircases constructed in the Hollywood grand manner of the glory days of sailing.

The elegant metallic sweep of the Zuiderdam's Shore Excursions desk is shown in the third photo. It beckons all freepers to sign up for interesting and scenic tours in Nassau, St. Thomas, St. John and Tortola.

There's still time to register with Wanda at 1-800-890-7583 for a voyage into another world. Phone her tomorrow (Pacific time) and join your fellow freepers for this fabulous tropical getaway.

Cruisers, keep your eye on the Bahama Mama thread. As embarkation day approaches, yo Mama is posting info at a more furious pace (by laid-back tropical standards, of course). If you have any questions, post them on that thread.

The fourth and final drawing for a $50 gift on-board credit will be held on Friday, April 30. As usual, Admiral of the FReep, Jim Rob will pull the screen name of the lucky winner. Eligible to win are all registrants of this fantastic voyage.

Winners in our first three drawings are the Mycroft Holmes, the Dalereeds, and Hoosiermama.

So, for your name to be in Jim's hat, register right now. All new registrants still receive Holland America's $50 on-board credit, so call Wanda today so she can book you. If you are a couple contemplating taking this cruise and if you win our drawing, this would mean $150 in your pocket to apply to your ship tab or to purchase lovely things in the ship's shops.

Hurry, hurry, sign on now and the "ifs" mentioned above could become a reality.

TEN REASONS WHY YOU KNOW YOU DESPERATELY NEED A CRUISE ......

Your eyes are so strained from freeping that you sign your checks "Mr. Magoo" (at the top of the check).

The only bodies of water you ever see are the rings of mug liquids staining your computer desk.

Your feet are so swollen from computer-sitting that you have to order footwear from the shoemaker to the Chicago Bulls.

The only meals you've eaten out in the last five years have been in the front seat of your car in the Burger King parking lot.

The glamor of spending your one-week vacation time in your in-laws trailer home in rural Little Rock is waning.

The only live dolphins you've ever seen are in November on Sunday afternoon TV.

The only swim outfit you own has a long skirt and black leggings.

You've made your own bed so many times your fingers are permanently attached to your toes.

The only palm tree you ever see is on the Oil of Olay bottle in your medicine chest.

Since you never meet the gorgeous freeper gals and the hunk freeper guys in person on a cruise, Hillary and Bill are starting to look real good to you.

Register today for FReeps Ahoy and enjoy the real world of sun, sky, sea and sociability on our good ship, the Zuiderdam.

Are you going on this thing? If so who else is going, I'm thinking of booking.

There's probably a list on the thread somewhere, as I haven't been through all of the posts. I'll browse more now.

My computer skills aren't much but i'll be bringing my laptop, have an account to post pictures to, and since the ship has internet connection, how about a "durring the cruise thread" posted each day.

I'm sure someone is an expert and we can post a running thread!

Thanks for your great offer, Dale. We'll have freeper laptop experts on board, I'm sure.

Hopefully, we can issue some bulletins from the bounding main....... "Dalereed Reporting Live from Freeper Headquarters Somewhere Deep Inside the Zuiderdam".

You'll make Ollie North and Geraldo look like amateurs!

If you can send photos to me during the trip, I'll put them on the thread in the evenings. You folks can chime in and give us some excellent commentary to go with them.
