Well, I guess it depends on how crazy the party gets. People who haven't been on the cruise with us don't know what they're missing!!

The FRN FReeps Ahoy committee always plans laid-back cruises with no highly-structured workshops, seminars, etc. such as one would find on sponsored events by other conservative organizations. Meeting and interacting with like-minded freepers is a "seminar" in itself, and we want folks to do their own things on these cruises as the spirit moves.

However, we always schedule an on-board activism meeting. Attending this meeting (held during an "at-sea" morning) is optional, but nobody ever misses it!

Freepers love these ship-board get-togethers with each other, and they're always a highlight of a FReeps Ahoy cruise. The meetings are informative and so darn enjoyable that everyone hangs around after the program, chewing the fat with each other till their tummies tell them its almost lunch time.

Last cruise, Diotoma and Bob J put on a nice program with a review of what FRN is and what its goals are, plus a rundown of freeps and activism, past and proposed. An inspiring video of Liberty and Support the Troops freeps across the country was shown to the enthusiastic audience.

Freeper participants spoke from the floor on any subject and some of them had great activism comments and ideas to share. With the election coming up after this cruise, this upcoming input session will certainly be timely and helpful.

This year's meeting will also feature approximately a dozen door prizes distributed to lucky participants. I'm not going to tell you what they are, hah, but they're all alike, all are donated by one generous freeper, and all are smaller than a breadbox. If you win one of these gifts, you'll be one happy freeper, believe me!

On our last cruise, we were all seated in a beautiful private room for the meeting. The ship's staff made sure we had plenty of steaming cups of coffee, tea and an assortment of tasty ship-baked pastry snacks. Through the windows of the salon, and in the comfort of soft lounge chairs, we could watch the sparkling sea roll by as we tackled the great and small issues of conservatism, freeperism and cookieism.

Doughty One, our cruise webmaster, will be posting shots of two of the beautiful meeting rooms on board the Zuiderdam, one of which will be ours.

Picture you upon the "Z"
Coffee for you and tea for me
Can't you see how happy we will be?

Ooops, finally...  here are those two meeting rooms you mentioned Leni.

the Half Moon meeting room

the Hudson meeting room

These rooms look quite similar, but in truth they are two separate meeting rooms.

Dream, when you're feeling blue
Dream, that's the thing to do
Just watch your cruise dreams rise through the air
You'll find your share of good fortune there

So dream when the day is through
Dream and they might come true
Cruises always are as fun as they seem
So dream, dream, dream.

You can make it, Lisa.....go girl!

Yoweeee!

YOU HAVEN'T LIVED UNTIL YOU'VE CRUISED!

It's easy to see why. The price of your fare includes all of your meals and in-between snacks as well as all your onboard daytime activities and fun, nightime parties and entertainment. Plus, a relaxing voyage to interesting and exotic places in the sunny Caribbean.

A cruise ship is a floating resort. You'll make friends with like-minded fellow freepers. You can spend your days and nights being as lively or leisurely as you like.

The hassles of an ordinary vacation are completely eliminated in one convenient cruise fare. You don't have to worry about making dinner reservations, the irritation of finding a motel every night, packing and unpacking, the hazards and exhaustion of the highways, or staying for a week somewhere with liberal in-laws.

You can just lie back and be completely pampered. Or go non-stop if you want. Dine like never before. Enjoy great shows. Let your cares flow away for a while.

More and more canny vacationers are taking cruises these days. Once they get a taste of cruising and what a comparative bargain it is, they come back for more.....again and again. As a matter of fact, cruising has a higher percentage of satisfied customers than any other vacation experience.

Potential vacationers should tote up the cost of three or four nights at Disneyland, for example. The cost to sleep alone (without entrance fees, meals, tipping, snacks and other expenses) is about equal to approximately an ENTIRE week in a budget stateroom where your one prepaid fare includes ALL these things.

TWELVE REASONS TO TAKE A CRUISE

Except for getting to and from the port city, someone else is taking care of all the details of the vacation for you. A cruise is worry-free.

Cabins are available for all budgets.

Gourmet menus without prices on the right-hand side. You're prepaid! Tipping optional on Holland America ships.

Visit 4 gorgeous tropical islands in a week.

The awe-inspiring view of sea and islands from the ship's deck or your balcony is included at no extra charge.

Cruising allows leisurely, quality time with your family, friends, and fellow freepers.

Sailing in the Caribbean beats sitting and steaming on the freeways.

No packing-unpacking-packing-unpacking, driving-stopping-driving-stopping.

Rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit for all of us computer and news junkies. Sometimes we think we don't need this, but we do.

A vacation resort just sits there, but a cruise moves with you to a variety of theres.

Live entertainment, casino, spas, ice cream bar, movie theater, lounges, piano bar, church services and Mass, pizza kiosk, swim pools, bingo, all just a short stroll away from your cabin.

Do everything, anything, or nothing at all as the spirit moves you.

You haven't lived until you've cruised. You haven't cruised until you've been on a FReeps Ahoy cruise!

Wanda, our mermaid travel lady, will work with you. Phone her at 1-800-890-7583, even if you just have questions on the fares. She's been our strong right arm for three cruises now.....and she LOVES working with freepers. She's so patient, plus she has a son in the Marines of whom she's very proud!

Oh, boy! Will there be a lot of hot stuff to discuss with other freepers on this cruise. The week just has to be a political/news junkie's dream come true.

And there's live news on your TV, plus your lap top can be plugged into a cabin outlet.

Hope to meet ya aboard, Dubya!

You will have the greatest time on this cruise. We went on the first one, and wish we could go on this one. You will laugh like you have never laughed! Man, I wish we could go.
