What in the world? Does this happen often?

I turned it over to my ABC channel thinking Monday Night Football would be on. When I got to ABC I saw something entirely different. "The Practice" was on. So while I surfed on FreeRepublic I left it on in the background.
I heard something about Guantanamo Bay and it got my attention. There was a courtroom scene with a man interrogating a woman.
They made Guantanamo look like a death camp. They starting inserting terrorist groups here and there. It looked like the person writing the script knew some names and just threw them into a huge bin and mixed them all together. Here is a sample of some of the questions that were asked of the witness. All of this was acted out with extreme drama.
Between questions they would show the flashbacks of the prisoner at Guantamano shaking wildly. The flashbacks would go from the witness being interrogated in the courtroom..to back at the camp with the prisoner being interrogated by the witness.
Now more questions were asked of the woman.
"You punched him in the stomach! And for what! To save 1000 American lives! Was it worth it to you! To prevent another 911!"
The woman being questioned in the courtroom is shaking nervously now.
The woman replies that the terrorist was tied to Hamas.
The prosecutor responds.
"Hamas isn't a terrorist group. Why would you be asking him that. Is it true that these prisoners had no solid schedule for questioning? Did you really wake them up in the middle of the night?"
The women replied that sleep deprevation was used.
Another flashback of the prisoner shaking. The prisoner is rambling. The woman interrogator screams at him. STOP PRAYING! ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!!
Back to the courtroom. The "other" side. The side defending the tactics used at Gitmo claims that the tactics saved the life of the Palestinian Prime Minister, LOL!
More questions.
'How far do we go? Where do we draw the line? Was it worth saving innocent American lives and the Palestinian Prime Ministers life? This man died while in your custody!
The end is very confusing. It appears that the jury finds the woman soldier from Gitmo guilty of using sleep deprevation. They seriously did a job on Gitmo. They made it look like a death camp. It was EXTREMELY exaggerated. Now I know what the Dim voters do on Monday night. They watch the Practice!

Were you logged in to FreeRepublic with your TV on?
To: ConservativeMan55
Not at all surprised. That's a completely vile tv show. The episode that had me in total despair concerned the "defense" attorney who knew where the body of a murdered child was, but was "ethically" prohibited from telling the parents that their child was dead, not to mention the location of the body. I couldn't believe such things were possible.

It sickens me to think that people get their "facts" from crap like this.

Oh that's ok. Last week on ER, they let the French doctors in Africa bash the US and Bush endlessly- without mentioning the promised billions to Africa for AIDS. It was just sick.

It shocked me. I wasn't aware. Now that I realize how bad it is. It almost looks as if its all planned out to be biased on purpose.

I'm rooting for Green Bay. Favre is going to win this one no matter who roots for who.

Last week on ER, they let the French doctors in Africa bash the US and Bush endlessly- without mentioning the promised billions to Africa for AIDS. I saw that, too...which I why I gloated all the more when Saddam was captured the following weekend! If it'd been up to those same sort of French morons, Saddam would still be in power today.
WOOHOO! TOUCHDOWN FOR GREEN BAY!

It *IS* planned. Remember, with CFR, liberals are going to find any way they can to preach false information. And using television shows to do their bidding is only the start.

I agree. We need to either counter this crap...or stop it from happening.
The average Joe who doesn't follow politics or the world around him, but would never miss "The Practice" is being fed disinformation.
Remember last week? More people watched Paris Hilton's sitcom than The President's comments about Saddam being captured.

80 yard Touchdown Drive! It'd be icing on the cake for this wonderful Christmas season to see the Raiders lose on the last Monday Night Football of the season. : )

I agree. Green Bay still has a chance at the Playoffs don't they? With the passion could Brett take it all the way?
